OPENING IN THEATERS JUNE 28, 2000
Hugh Francis, Dick Moody, Keith Downer and Bob Allegretto along with a friend Mike Neeley, spent 2 1/2 weeks in South Carolina with the cast and crew of "The Patriot". Sleeping in tents (camp crusty) in November outside of Rock Hill, S.C. and enduring the long days on the set. All five of us spent most of those days riding horses that were provided by the Film Company. Our part was small and may not even be seen in the final movie, but we sure had fun. We were to be the American Cavalry in the Cowpens Battle scene. Unfortunately, delay after delay caused us to be pushed off more and more until we all had to head back North of loose our real jobs. We did get in a few scenes (we hope). We're the only American Cavalry in Blue coats. I know we'll belooking hard. The experience was great. We even met Mel. Maybe there will be more movies in the future. Let's see how this one comes out first.
