Nancy
Davis began her formal music education at the age of five with instruction
in classical piano, later adding vocal and other instrumental studies.
She obtained her university degree in speech and theatre education,
while continuing her studies in music. Ms. Davis performed in choirs,
madrigal, folk and rock groups and appeared in musical comedies and
played various musical instruments as a soloist, accompanist and ensemble
musician prior to obtaining a second degree in the sciences. Thereafter,
she continued to perform as a musician, eventually falling under the
spell of the harp.
Since 1996 she has played both pedal and lever harp professionally
in Spokane, Washington. Ms. Davis has performed for numerous weddings,

teas, receptions and dinners, and lends a delightful
touch to events centering on Celtic music in which she specializes.
For several years she was a regular entertainer at Mizuna Restaurant
and has been featured at the Spokane Fall Folk Festival, First Night,
and numerous gala charitable events. She performs solo, with several
small groups and as an accompanist and has performed live on Spokane
Public Radio.
Ms. Davis maintains a private studio for
instruction in lever harp technique and repertoire.
