Ms. Davis teaches students in her studio in north Spokane,
near Mead High School. She primarily teaches adults but takes
younger students with some piano background.
Students need to plan to have a harp available. Ms. Davis can
offer suggestions about renting harps and maintains several
rental harps in her studio as well. Harps can be rented for
between $35 and $95, depending on the source.

Students need to be prepared to practice daily and come for
lessons on a weekly basis until they have established good harp
posture, hand position and technique. Lessons are $20.00 per
week, due at the beginning of each month. Missed lessons can
be made up at the convenience of both the student and Ms. Davis.
Lessons consist of:
Basic harp exercises for familiarity with the instrument and
skills such as scales for agility
Repertoire adapted to each student's needs and desires
Basic music theory
Music arranging
Students also need to purchase music books and a tuning aid.
Ms. Davis can help students find these resources and advise
about purchase of a harp when the student is ready for this
addition to his/her musical life.
