I'm currently reading "Parts per Million" by Joy Horowitz, a Yale Law School grad who went to Beverly Hills High School This book is about the adjacent Oil Wells and the Sempra Energy Plant and their relation to a cancer cluster at the High School. I recommend this book.
I also recommend "While America Aged" and anything by Roger Lowenstein.
