When I first put this page up it was
meant as a tribute to my dear friend
Helyn Chrobocinski. Helyn has since
passed on, but her spirit lives on
in my heart and in the hearts of
many local performers and
environmental activists who were
honored to know her. She did get to
see this page before she passed, and
we enjoyed many hours reminiscing
about our great times working and
singing together.
I have been an active and proud
member of
Clearwater of New Jersey
(formerly Monmouth County
Friends Of Clearwater) for
many years. During this time I
helped book the entertainment for
the Clearwater Festival At Sandy
Hook (now the
Clearwater
Festival At Asbury Park),
performed regularly and served on
the Board Of Directors.

of New Jersey, Helyn was
also at the founding of the Jersey Shore
Jazz and Blues Festival in 1988. |
