Stephen E. Westfall lives with his family in Illinois. He is active in an Anglican parish and serves as an adult leader for a local Boy Scout troop.  He attended the University of Texas in Austin and has a Master of Theology degree with a specialization in Old Testament and Semitic Languages from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in Northwest Semitic Philology from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in finance from the University of Chicago.  He also completed most of a doctoral program in Northwest Semitic Philology at the University of Chicago.  (More detail about my theological/biblical/language training.)

Steve divides his time between family, scouting, church, reading biblical studies and theology, and a bit of writing for his website.  He has taught numerous adult education classes at churches in the Chicago area, including several survey courses in the Book of Psalms. In 2006 he is teaching a Beginning Greek class to adult students who want to learn how to read the New Testament in its original language. In his spare time he works in the Information Technology field.  Other interests include amateur astronomy, genealogy, physics, and amateur radio.
