Want to be a dominatrix and lack the capital to get the snazzy toys?
Too damn cheap to buy real extensions? Tired of overpaying for fetish clothes?
Come one, come all---and fear not! There are ways to make your own toys, often with things found around the house that only take minutes to create.
Riding Crop:
a medium sized dowel (can be found anywhere from Wally world to the hardware store).
package of black electrical tape
black leather remnants (easily found in a Wally world/craft store section)
Break or saw the dowel in half or to a preferred length, cover, beginning at the bottom tip, the dowel with the electrical tape, stopping about an inch before the top. Cut a black leather remnant (yes, you can use an old belt, or go to the craft store for a four buck bag of them) into a two inch wide long rectangle. Fold in half and cut to slightly angle the bottoms. Hold the leather, still folded (and I recommend putting a circle of tape on the inside of each of the strips on either side of the wood to hold it better and easier) onto the top of the untaped part of the dowel, and continue to wrap the tape upwards. When you've covered the bottom quarter inch of the leather and it's adhered to the wood, flatten out the leather loop and tape across the inside a couple of times. Then, retape the entire piece, ending the roll and cutting the tape off at the bottom.
Cat-O-Nine Tails:
old broomstick or extremely thick dowel sawed off to a six to eight inch portion
black electrical tape
black leather remnant strips
This process is nearly identical to the riding crop. Tape up the bottom upwards of the wood and stop about an inch from the end. Gather all strips together creating some sort of even bottom and tape about three inches up. Place the bottoms of the strips around end of the wood and continue taping. Retape the handle and you're done.
Quick and Insanely Cheap Hair Extensions
1-2 small packages of double prong curl clips (--(these are roughly two dollars a package and you get a dozen).
One package of the little clear elastics (or orthodontic elastics if you’ve got them)
One to two packages of the 3 piece Yaky Pony hair.
note------This is simply the type I use cause I have shiny and straight hair with a bit of curl at the bottom (runs about five dollars a pack and one pack is a lot of hair), get whatever hair you want as long as it matches up with your own relatively well and is folded in half therefore creating a curve at the top---don’t get Wefted hair!!!
Yep, that’s all you need.First, take the hair out and remove any extraneous rubber bands sans the ones that are looped around the middle so that there’s a loop sticking up. Take your first group of hair and remove the rubber band around the center. Keep your eye on the center!!! Take a small section out of the hair (because the clips aren’t toothed, don’t take more than an inch of medium dispersion of strands).Place the middle of the hair (where the original loop was) over the top of your index finger and grasp with the index and thumb of your other hand below your index finger on the hair. Then remove your index finger, still grasping the hair. This creates a loop that you will secure tightly by wrapping a clear rubber band around it.Almost done! Now you just slip the loop part of the hair strand onto the slanted (i.e., top part) of the hair clip and tighten up the loop by separating the bottom in two different directions and tugging. There you go, and all for under ten dollars!!!
Cheap
and Quick Fetish garb:
Two to three (depending on how wide you are) large black plastic heavy duty garbage bags.
Plastic thread (found at any sewing supply shop or craft store (it’s sort of cheap).
Anyways,
this is to create a ladies very short strapless dress. On each bag, cut completely
down one of the length sides on the seam and the connecting top seam.Flatten
out the bag and fold in half lengthwise. Measure three points on your body:
bust, waist, and hip. Then, measure the distance between waist to bust and
waist to hip, plus the overall length you want. Mark these with a silver or
light coloured sharpie onto the bag, then draw connecting lines. that's your
pattern.
Cut out the pattern on the second bag to create the back two layers.
Holding both top pieces together, find the outward darts. Fold in half and sew out to in at the edge of the folded area where it measures up to the sides of the dress. (creating darts are optionaland only needed really if you have a big bust)Hold both top pieces and bottom pieces together (with dart stitches showing) and sew down the side in a lockstich:DON'T USE THE SEWING MACHINE!You can do this by hand. It'll screw up your machine if you try to sew it on there.
