Jane is a Certified Decorative Artist from Western Massachusetts. She has a degree in Trompe L'Oeil/Sharp Focus Still Life from Paier College of Fine Art. Her art career spans over 30 years of teaching in her home studio and travel teaching in Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Ontario, Kansas City, San Diego, St. Louis and other cities. She continues to teach weekly classes in her home studio from September to May.
Jane also teaches one week summer workshops in her studio in West Springfield, MA. Her work is displayed in several galleries, including Lenox Gallery in the Berkshire Hills.

Most of Jane's students start with a strong desire to learn how to paint. student will assert that he or she has "no talent," and questions whether he or she will be able to paint well. Jane assures everyone that 99% of success has little to do with talent. Success comes from perseverance, by attending classes regularly and learning step-by-step in a friendly atmosphere of fun, sharing and comradeship. Many of Jane's students have become professional artists and some also have opened their own classroom-studios.
