North To Alaska
Cub Scout Day Camp Cuboree 2008
We are excited about the upcoming day camp at Carkeek Park, July 8-11.
Camp is Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. You will need to check your son in every morning and out every afternoon.
We will be at the picnic shelter that is by the bathrooms and the playground.
A few rules are necessary to make sure the camp is safe and enjoyable for all campers!
Day Camp rules:
-
Come Prepared to have fun!
-
Please, no sandals.
-
Bring bottled water daily.
-
Bring a sack lunch in a plastic zip lock bag daily, no peanuts please.
-
Wear sunscreen daily.
-
Each boy will be given a camp shirt to wear daily as his uniform.
-
Please do not bring any toys, radios, CD players, knives or electronic games to camp.
-
Each boy will be given a camp T-shirt and colored neckerchief to wear to help identify him as a scout and which den he will be assigned. The neckerchief will stay in the den box at the end of the day.
-
Each parent volunteer will wear a camp T-shirt to identify them as a volunteer. If you work all four days of camp, you get to keep your T-shirt, with our thanks and appreciation.
See you at camp! We're going to have a blast.
