Referee upgrade
- To become an Intermediate Referee, the candidate must have experience
(25 games with at least 5 in U-12 matches), training (completing the
Intermediate Referee Course and passing the written test), and mentoring (by
an AYSO Referee Mentor).
- To become a Advanced Referee, the candidate must have experience
(50 games with 10 in U-14 matches and 5 as assistant referee in U-14 matches),
training (completing the Advanced Referee Course and passing the written
test), success (passing assessments as a center referee and as an assistant
referee in U-14 matches), fitness (pass the physical fitness test),
and dedication (completing service units).
