 Note: Recommend making reservations to be on the safe side.  Ask if the restaurant offers "early bird" specials (they aren't
 advertised so you have to ask; they are strict on time requirement.)  Also in Hawaii most restaurants are casual in attire
 meaning sports jackets/ties are rarely required.

Kihei/Wailea/Makena
 Capische (Italian food). $$$  located at the Diamond Resort, Makena.  Good views and outdoor tables with roof overhead.
 Margarita Cantina. $ On the beach, almost next door at the Kealia Center.  Mexican.   Eat/drink outside.
 Hula Moons - Outrigger Wailea Resort $$$ Excellent terrace view of sunset--pick night when Haw. musicians entertain during
 cocktails/dinner.  Food good.
 Maui Onion Grill -$$ Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort,  Great lunches (only, no dinners)
 The Outback -  $$$ Good family type restaurant. Piilani Shopping Ctr. by Safeway.
 Tony Roma's - $$ very good ribs, in Kihei
 Aroma D'Italia $$ Family run, good food/reasonable. (Located Foodland Shopping Center, Kihei)
 Roy's - $$$$ Piilani Shopping Ctr. by Safeway.
 Tommy Bahama's $$$ Wailea Shopping Ctr.
 Ruth's Chris Steak House,$$$$ Wailea Shopping Ctr.
 Sea Watch $$$ Wailea Golf Club Dr.  Good breakfasts and good fresh fish, outside terrace or inside dining room

Maalaea Bay
 The Waterfront.$$$$  Excellent food & service.  Also good "early bird" specials.   Casual. (This is one of our favorites and
 a highly recommended  5-star restaurant!  Recommend reservations.)  (See Sights & Treasures at SBR for discount coupons) Dressy Casual
 Buzz's Wharf.$$$  Great fresh fish.  Casual.

Lahaina/Kaanapali
 Longhi's. $$$$  A Lahaina institution.  Verbal menu. (also in Wailea Shopping Ctr)
 Leilani's. At Whalers Village. $$$ Great.  Beautiful for sunset dinner.
 Chez Paul. in Olowalu (on way to Kaanapali).$$$$  French Cuisine.  Small place with unpretentious atmosphere.
 (Outside looks like Greyhound bus stop.)  If you're into French, some people say it is the best they have had outside of
 France!  Reservations a must (could be a couple of days before you can get in) and is on the expensive side.
 Kimo's $$ Good ocean view, situated on Front St.
 Ruth's Chris Steak House,$$$$ - Lahaina
 Outback Steak House, Kaanaplai $$$ No reservations taken, very popular chain.

Napili/Kapalua
 Kapalua Bay Club. $$$$  Outstanding! Expensive, reservations needed.
 Napili Kai Beach Club. $$$ On a point with super view.
 Pineapple Hill.  Good place for drink at sunset.

Kahului/Wailuku/Paia
 Mama's Fish House.Paia. $$$$  Another of our favorites--a must during your visit!  Great fresh fish and drinks.  Polynesian
 setting.  Located about 1/2 mile past Paia on Hana Highway.   (Again this is one of our of our favorites that we highly
 recommend) .
  If you want pizza, try the Pizza Hut in Kahului.  It's the best Pizza Hut we've ever been to in the U.S.- bar none!  Just the
 usual decor, but super tasting pizzas.
 Marco's Deli & Grill, Hana Hwy/Dairy Rd. - $$ very good lunch menu. (also a Marco's in Kihei).
 "Guri Guri" a Japanese ice cream-sherbet like treat comes in two flavors.  In Maui Mall  (Kahului) where the
 formerWoolworth's was located.   Sold only on Maui.
 Koho Grill & Bar $$, Kahumano Shopping Ctr. Good family style restaurant (special Fajita night on Tues).

Up-Country (Toward Haleakala)
 Haliimaile General Store. Haliimaile. $$$ Very good "local's" favorite for lunch or dinner.   Outstanding ribs and seafood.
 Kula Lodge $$ Sit at one of the outside terraces; good for lunch.

Sunday Brunches:
 Raffles - Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort $$$   Fantastic Sunday Brunch. Reservations required.
 Grand (was Hyatt) Wailea  $$$  Excellent Breakfast buffet during the week and Champagne Brunch on Sundays. Make
 reservations to sit on the terrace and enjoy the view.
