Profile
I have been in business at this address for 24 years! (yeah, I can't believe it either....)
The shop is huge - 4,000 sq. ft. to explore!

Be sure to check the 'NEWS' section at the bottom of this page for recent additions to my inventory! I update it every few weeks, and there are lots more photos!
I run the place single-handedly and I try to keep constant and regular hours.
My main goal is to keep a constant flow of inventory going in and out of the shop. It's not a museum and it's not "my collection" - I'm here to sell this stuff!! This translates to keeping my prices as low as possible = if I get a good deal, I pass that on to YOU. In general, I would say that most of my prices will be at least 20% less than most malls or Seattle antique stores. On many pieces, the price gulf is even greater!
My inventory is constantly changing - I get stuff in weekly, sometimes daily. Merchandise moves fairly fast and since I can't just "re-order", you better buy it when you see it! Most of my stock comes from private individuals - people who are moving or downsizing or changing what they collect.
So the answer is, YES! I DO BUY! Some items are taken on consignment but mostly, I buy outright.
Information
Regular Business Hours:
Wednesday thru Saturday 11 to 6
Sunday 12 to 6
Closed Monday and Tuesday, but usually OPEN for Monday Holidays. Call me - it'll be on my phone message if it's not posted here.
Please feel free to email me for photos of specific pieces - you will NOT be automatically added to any email lists!
To be included on my email mailing list, please email me and I will add your address! I DO NOT sell these lists and always send blind copies. You will only get mail from me for special events such as antique show, estate sales or a sale at the shop etc.
Sometimes I run a little late in the morning - please wait for me! Unless there is a sign explaining that I will be closed or giving a later opening time, I will arrive in a few minutes! Every once in a while I open an hour late (usually a Friday) or have to close a bit early (usually to pick up more 'stuff'!), so if you are driving any distance, it's best to call and check that all is normal and that I will be open normal hours.
Products/Services
I handle alot of furniture, from fine antiques in:

To rustic and painted furniture. (I suppose you'd call it 'shabby chic' but I hate those trendy titles!)
I also have 'You Fix'Em' pieces that you can do the cleaning, refinishing, re-gluing or whatever is required to make it good. Prices on these pieces reflect their condition and you can get some great deals by doin' it yourself!
I handle a bit of quality used furniture - usually basic stuff no one can live without, like chests of drawers, desks, side tables etc.
As far as collectibles go, I carry almost 100% Vintage items. You can visit The Pottery Room, The Retro Room, Bad Boys Garage or choose from the following goodies:

Art Pottery> Roseville, Rookwood (sometimes), Hull, McCoy and others.
Fenton Art Glass>Both Vintage and newer pieces
Elegant Depression Glass> Fostoria, Heisey, Cambridge et al.

Fine China>Spode, Royal Albert, Flow Blue, English Bone China Cups & Saucers and others
American Dinnerware>Vintage Fiesta by Homer Laughlin, Franciscan, Russel Wright, Restuarant china and more

BAUER 'RINGWARE'
As the name implies, the Bad Boys Garage features Old Tools and equipment, Architectural items like hardware and other 'hard bits'!

The Retro Room features Mid-Century furniture and cool decorative pieces. The farther over the top, the better!

News
Last updated 9/15/07
Finally an update! New photos and even new pics of Page the shop cat for those of you who have been bewitched by the furry old gal.
Some important news would include the reminder that the Puyallup Antique Expo is soon approaching!!! November 10th & 11th - see the link below for Palmer Wirfs for even more info. Here's some photos of February '07 and November '06:
Business continues to be very BRISK at the shop, so it is hard for me to get photos of stuff online before it sells! Still, here's a few new items...if they are still in the shop by November, I will be bringing the wicker chairs, buggies and candelabra to the show, just to name a few items. I share a triple (10' x 30') booth, so there's LOTS to choose from!
Gorgeous 1920's Bedroom Set! Walnut Burl veneers, original hardware, excellent condition! Set includes 7-drawer chest, vanity with mirror & bench, TWO twin bed frames, bedside chair. An Outstanding set for $1250.00 None better at this price!
Seven Light, 32" Silver Plate Candelabra by Jordan Sheffield, an Italian company. A gorgeous piece, perfect for the Holidays! $275 for this beauty - compare at twice the price!

Darling 1910-1920's Baby Buggies! One is all wicker and the other is painted wood & wicker is everyone's favorite green color! Both in excellent condition - $175 & $145 each. (Nice Oil painting & composition doll in this photo too!)

Incredible Victorian Wicker Arm Chairs. These are NOT repros and are in almost perfect condition! VERY sturdy and totally useable....probably better in white paint but that is easily changed. Priced at $350.00 EACH and well worth it!

BAUER RINGWARE See the photos above (under American Dinnerware) of the multicolor dinnerware made in 1933 by Bauer of Los Angeles. The black & white is very rare. Some of these pieces have already sold but it was a big collection so there's still a good selection.

Beautiful Oak Kitchen Queen with enamel pull-out work counter, roll-up door and flour sifter. Excellent, refinished condition - totally functional & clean inside and out! This piece is great for the kitchen or dining room! $1495.00 This piece needs to move - on SALE at $1000!b>

The perfect stove to go with your kitchen queen - c1930's Wedgewood Gas Stove with four burners and small oven. It is outstanding in cream & green enamel! It has had a propane hookup added recently and although it is being sold as is, it is in beautiful condition most likely ready to use. In searching the web, I have found no other stove with this coloration and enameled design. These stoves sell for thousands refurbished, so $725.00 gives you room to do any fixes that might be needed or to just use this as a unique display piece.

Darling Pine Kitchen 'Dresser', c1870. Open shelves with closed cabinet below, fabulous patina to the antique pine. This piece may be Welsh, English or Irish and is much smaller than most pieces commonly called 'dressers'. A Sweet piece at $575!

Great selection of English Bone China cups & saucers(always changing)
100's of Record Albums - from 1960's Easy Listening, Rock & Roll, Country, Show Tunes etc. - most priced at only $1! 3/25/05 I now have over 600 45 rpm records! Have a jukebox? This is the place! Most only $1 each!
I will update this NEWS section every couple of weeks or sooner if something momentous is happening! Thanks so much for dropping by!
