"One ought never to turn one's back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half." ~Sir Winston Churchill-British politician (1874 - 1965)
Pelosi's Cut-and-Run Bill, also knows as the "Drop Dead U.S. Troops" Bill, has sent a clear message to our armed forces, and to those of us who support our troops in harm's way.
In an Al-Jazeera newspaper in Iran dated 3/23/07, guess what was on the front page? "Bush Vows to Veto Iraq Pullout Bill" "Pelosi had to canvas support from sceptical Democrats to get the necessary votes. The US House of Representatives has voted to impose a September 2008 deadline for withdrawing all American combat troops from Iraq." It is not surprising that this made the front page. That's what Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wanted to hear, he wanted to know WHEN our troops would be getting out of Iraq. Gee, I wonder why he wants to know? Strangely enough, Ahmadinejad's navy kidnapped 15 British sailors and marines on the very same day. Bold move considering he cancelled his trip to come to the US (letting him come here is a joke in, and of itself) to speak at the United Nations (the UN being an even bigger joke) about the nukes he is building up to use against the United States and Israel. When the first mushroom cloud hits the west coast of the US, who will Pelosi call for help? When the anti-American crowds in San Francisco and in Portland, OR, find their state uninhabitable for decades due to radiocative fallout, who will they go to for help? Will they blame Bush like they blamed him for Katrina, a NAUTRAL disaster? I am willing to bet there will be another massive terrorist attack on US soil, shortly after our troops are yanked completely out of Iraq by an irrational female and her flock of sheep. A ficitonal character, a terrorist, on the show '24' said it best, "they are being led to their own slaugher!" He was right! Even if it was a television show, there is truth in that statement. After today's disastrous passing of a bill that puts our troops in even more harm than they already were, I see some 'leading' going on, don't you? Don't blame me! Hey, I didn't vote those weasels into Congress. What a woman on the far end of her menopausal cycle, is doing as Speaker of the House, is beyond me. I didn't want her there. To think they could put a completely insane woman 3rd in line for the Presidency of America, is frightening. And today's passing of the cut-and-run bill proves just how well-founded my fears are. Pelosi and her cronies might as well grab a couple of canisters of chemical warfare from the Iranian nutjobs, and start killing Americans. This way is a slow death, just waiting to see what Iran will do when the 'deadline' for troop withdrawal out of Iraq arrives.

11 year old Girl Scout and Her Mother Challenge To " THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES" I wanted to inform you of the challenge Zoa has began. See her attached letter to President Bush. Her letter is being circulated all over the US and she had a huge smile on her face when she found out this was occurring from emails returned to her. Thursday on our way to my parents home, Zoa asked if we could stop at the Capitol Building and so we did. She took her challenge letter to the Governor's office. She has challenged our Governor to be Patriotic and American.
The governor was not available But his aides were and Zoa got to be in the Governor's personal office and pictures taken. DO YOU KNOW HOW PROUD THIS LITTLE AMERICAN IS?????? I like what she has came up with for an idea because our children pay taxes also. Every time they spend their allowance and buy something with their money they are taxed just as well. I am saddened by the horrific acts that are not peaceful speech that is being ignored such as defacing our war and American monuments. The men and women of our current and past wars are being attacked by defacing many monuments across the United States, by BURNING A MANAQUIN OF AN AMERICAN SOLDIER IN A QUOTE PEACEFUL ANTI WAR DEMONSTRATION, AND BY HAVING PEOPLE SAY THEY ARE SPEAKING FOR US WHEN THEY ARE NOT SPEAKING FOR ME!!!!!! MANY MILITARY FAMILIES AND VETERANS AND SOLDIERS ARE BEING EFFECTED DRASTICALLY AND THAT IS NOT AMERICAN.AND TO CALL THEM BABY KILLERS IS NOT ALRIGHT!!!! We have people now across America taking Zoa up on her challenge to be American, to be Patriotic, to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS and to BE AMERICAN SPEAK OUT CAUSE OUR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BEING TAKEN AWAY. This needs attention now by anyone who lives in the United States. While we sit back and work everyday to try to achieve our American Dream the best way we can. The people who were voted into our CONGRESS have decided they are right and we the ones WHO voted them in their jobs are wrong. TRADITION FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE, BUT PEOPLE WHO DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE ARE CHANGING THIS GREAT COUNTRY FROM AMERICAN --HOME OF THE FREE!!!!!!!! HOME OF THE BRAVE!!!!!!!!!!!! There are thousands of clubs and organizations as well as almost everything to do with anything in the United States that these traditions are taught. Those trying to take this away from us are not as many as the media want to train us to think. This is America and I am tired of my life having to change for a few people who are speaking up and getting whatever they want no matter how ridiculous it is--AND MANY THINGS HAVE BEEN WAY PAST RIDIULOUS. The Girl Scout Promise and Law are shared by every member of Girl Scouting. The Girl Scout Promise is the way Girl Scouts agree to act every day toward one another and other people, and the Law outlines a way to act towards one another and the world. I NOW CHALLENGE ALL AMERICANS----NO POLITICAL PARTY HERE--THE ONLY PARTY IS AN AMERICAN--Many organizations as well as Girl Scouts hold true to their oath and now need to speak up for what we do stand for as AMERICANS. ( esp.AMERICANS, VETERANS, ESPECIALLY COMBAT VETERANS, VFW'S, AM VETS, BOY SCOUTS, ALL VETERAN ORGANIZATIONS, GIRL SCOUTS , EAGLES, AND THOUSANDS MORE YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) Help Zoa and others who live here in America to succeed with the challenge of Letting our troops know we support them. Write President Bush. THE TROOPS MIRACLE OF US BEING HEARD NEEDS TO GO TO THE TOP . Otherwise the miracle as Americans not being heard will continue until everything GOOD about AMERICA IS GONE.. ZOA IS OUR NEXT GENERATION OF CHILDREN THAT WILL SOMEDAY BE TAKING CARE OF US THE CITIZENS OF AMERICA.
THANK YOU,
ZOA'S LETTER TO PRESIDENT BUSH:
My daddy served with the 1st Division, 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry "Rangers", Charlie Company 65-66 Vietnam April 5, 2007
President and Mrs. Bush Dear Mr. President and Mrs. Bush, My name is Zoa and I am eleven years old. I am a Junior Juliette in the Girls Scouts. I am working on my "United We Stand Badge" and "Our Rights, Our Responsibilities Badge". The last activity to finish my Rights and Responsibility badge is an activity that includes the right to be me, the right to learn, the right to be heard, the right to live in peace, to be happy and to work together. I am my Daddy's youngest daughter and he is a disabled Vietnam Veteran. My Grandpa is a World War 2 Veteran from the Navy in the south Pacific. They both fought to make sure I have rights. All of our soldiers do. The Veterans that served with my Daddy that I have met at the reunions my mother has for them every year fought also. Two soldiers who were with my Daddy in Vietnam, got Medals of Honor. I got to go to Dayton, Ohio a few years back to one of their Medal of Honor ceremonies. It was really fun. I learned a lot. There were many soldiers there. I am enclosing $2.00 to go to our soldiers. They need to be thanked for protecting our freedoms as well as others. I want to challenge all the people who live here in the USA to stand up and be Americans and to write to you and to send you money for our soldiers and to support them. Its important to have respect and to show respect. I hope that they write many letters and mail lots of money to you at the Whitehouse to where the mailmen will have to bring the big bags of mail into you as they did on the Miracle on 34th Street. What is your favorite American song? Mine is by Lee Greenwood and its called God bless the USA. In Vietnam a soldier my Daddy was with saved my Daddy's life and I sung his buddy God bless the USA three years ago at the reunion in Branson, Missouri. He was very important to our family he's in Heaven now. You are important to our family as the President of the United States. My Mom told me you had two girls. Do they like horses? I made a picture for Mrs. Bush. I hope she likes horses. I made eagles in the picture with the horse. I named him Pete. I made him on the Bella Sara website. It's a fun website if you like horses. I hope you will share my challenge with other American people. My family will be praying for your family and the soldiers and their families. Thank you----Zoa

This is what some of our countrymen and women have done, and are still doing today
![]() Freedom of Speech is just one of the many rights American citizens have in this great country of ours. Our US troops protect that right every single day. There is an appropriate time and place for voicing your concerns and differences. It is especially disheartening to watch Americans protesting through the streets of our cities, especially while there are members of our Armed Forces being captured and killed by troops under the rule of a sociopath and a homicidal maniac.
To me, these protesters are starving for attention and the media is giving them just what they want. The media is scrounging for the first video of or the first interview with these people. It is in poor taste, and it is bad judgment on the part of all those who participate in these protests, whether they are marching or covering the marches. The way the protesters treated our veterans during and after the Vietnam war, was a disgrace. The protesters today are bringing back the memory of that time for me and I am not a veteran. Imagine how it must make our veterans feel to see this all over again. I sleep under the blanket of freedom our veterans fought for back then, and are fighting for now. Therefore, just the way I said it back in the 60's, I say:

The leftard and the moonbats would do well in reading the following true story. No explanation is needed. I think this says it all!
During the last year, we were allowed outside most days for a couple of minutes to bathe. We showered by drawing
water from a concrete tank with a homemade bucket. One day as we all stood by the tank, stripped of our clothes, a young Naval
pilot named Mike Christian found the remnants of a handkerchief in a gutter that ran under the prison wall. Mike managed to sneak
the grimy rag into our cell and began fashioning it into a flag.
Over time we all loaned him a little soap, and he spent
days cleaning the material. We helped by scrounging and
stealing bits and pieces of anything he could use. At night, under
his mosquito net, Mike worked on the flag. He made red and blue
from ground-up roof tiles and tiny amounts of ink and painted
the colors onto the cloth with watery rice glue. Using thread
from his own blanket and a homemade bamboo needle, he sewed
on stars.
Early in the morning a few days later, when the guards
were not alert, he whispered loudly from the back of our cell, "Hey
gang, look here." He proudly held up this tattered piece of cloth,
waving it as if in a breeze. If you used your imagination, you could
tell it was supposed to be an American flag. When he raised that
smudgy fabric, we automatically stood straight and saluted, our
chests puffing out, and more than a few eyes had tears.
About once a week the guards would strip us, run us
outside and go through our clothing. During one of those
shakedowns, they found Mike's flag. We all knew what would
happen. That night they came for him.
Night interrogations were always the worst. They
opened the cell door and pulled Mike out. We could hear the
beginning of the torture before they even had him in the torture
cell. They beat him most of the night.
About daylight they pushed what was left of him back
through the cell door. He was badly broken; even his voice was
gone. Within two weeks, despite the danger, Mike scrounged
another piece of cloth and began another flag. The Stars and
Stripes, our national symbol, was worth the sacrifice to him. Now
whenever I see the flag, I think of Mike and the morning he first
waved that tattered emblem of a nation. It was then, thousands
of miles from home in a lonely prison cell, that he showed us
what it is to be truly free.

He trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle. Psalm 144
He's a recent High School graduate; he was probably an average student, pursued some form of sport activities, drives a ten year old jalopy, and has a steady girlfriend that either broke up with him when he left, or swears to be waiting when he returns from half a world away. He listens to rock and roll or hip-hop or rap or jazz or swing and 155mm howizzitor. He is 10 or 15 pounds lighter now than when he was at home because he is working or fighting from before dawn to well after dusk.
He has trouble spelling, thus letter writing is a pain for him, but he can field strip a rifle in 30 seconds and reassemble it in less time in the dark. He can recite to you the nomenclature of a machine gun or grenade launcher and use either one effectively if he must. He digs foxholes and latrines and can apply first aid like a professional. He can march until he is told to stop or stop until he is told to march.
He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation, but he is not without spirit or individual dignity. He is self-sufficient. He has two sets of fatigues: he washes one and wears the other. He keeps his canteens full and his feet dry. He sometimes forgets to brush his teeth, but never to clean his rifle. He can cook his own meals, mend his own clothes, and fix his own hurts. If you're thirsty, he'll share his water with you; if you are hungry, his food. He'll even split his ammunition with you in the midst of battle when you run low.
He has learned to use his hands like weapons and weapons like they were his hands. He can save your life - or take it, because that is his job. He will often do twice the work of a civilian, draw half the pay and still find ironic humor in it all. He has seen more suffering and death then he should have in his short lifetime.
He has stood atop mountains of dead bodies, and helped to create them. He has wept in public and in private, for friends who have fallen in combat and is unashamed. He feels every note of the National Anthem vibrate through his body while at rigid attention, while tempering the burning desire to 'square-away' those around him who haven't bothered to stand, remove their hat, or even stop talking. In an odd twist, day in and day out, far from home, he defends their right to be disrespectful.
Just as did his Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, he is paying the price for our freedom. Beardless or not, he is not a boy. He is the American Fighting Man that has kept this country free for over 200 years.
He has asked nothing in return, except our friendship and understanding. Remember him, always, for he has earned our respect and admiration with his blood. And now we even have women over there in danger, doing their part in this tradition of going to War when our nation calls us to do so. As you go to bed tonight, remember this shot.. A short lull, a little shade and a picture of loved ones in their helmets.
Prayer : When you read this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our ground troops in Afghanistan, and sailors on ships, and airmen in the air, and for those in Iraq. There is nothing attached. This can be very powerful. Of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Coastguardsman, Marine or Airman, prayer is the very best one. {Author Unknown}
Visit the following websites. They contain lots of
information and links to websites about America,
There is a phenomenon going on in Hollywood with the Celebrity War Protesters. The people who starred in movies about wars, have all lost their minds. They think they were actually in the war that was being played out in a movie they starred in. Consider this:
Alec Baldwin, who has a secret desire and fantasizes about killing the Vice President of the United States, played Bob McNamara, the Secretary of Defense during the Vietnam War. He played McNamara as a man ridden with guilt for talking Johnson into sending more and more troops into Vietnam as the years progressed. Johnson finally got rid of McNamara when he testified that he felt differently about the President sending the troops to Vietnam, even though he was all for it in the beginning and advised him to do so.
Then he played a military man in Pearl Harbor who led the troops that dropped bombs on Japan in WWII.
See a pattern?
I think he went goofy believing that he really was in the war. I think he is unable to separate fact from fiction.
Now think about Martin Sheen, the guy who paraded past the White House, with a bucket on his head or something, protesting the 50th anniversary of dropping the bomb on Hiroshima. I don't know what he thought he was accomplishing since it happened 50 years before, hence the anniversary, but I think he had flashbacks of Apocalypse Now. I know he suffered a heart attack during the filming of that movie, but maybe he also suffered some kind of breakdown and believed he was a Vietnam Vet.
And let's not forget his son, although with Charlie, drugs and the effects on his brain could be a factor. Charlie thought he really was in a "Platoon". Now he thinks our government slaughtered its own people on September 11th, and then accused Bush of blaming it on psychopathic suicide wackos from Afghanistan!
There is Mike Farrell as well. He not only protests wars, he campaigns for twice-convicted cop killers. I think all those years on MASH, protesting the war as B J Hunneycutt, drove him insane. He thinks America is still at war with Korea, and he believes he's still fighting that war.
I can't explain Ann Garfola, whoever she is, because I don't know a single movie she's been in, and I can't explain Susan Sarandon or Tim Robbins. Tim went to Mars and to prison and was a nut in Jacobs Ladder years ago, maybe that sprung a brain cell or two loose, but Sarandon, I can't explain. She's probably just along for the ride with her husband, Tim.
I think casting directors should screen their actors better when filming a war movie. We have a bunch of looneys in Hollywood running around thinking they're war veterans and now feel it's their duty to protest the war.
By the way, I have the Pearl Harbor videotape that I will give away to anyone who wants it. With Alec Baldwin and Ben Affleck (remember him, was dating J-lo for a while?) starring in it, and seeing as how they're both anti-war protesters and extremely vocal about 9/11, I'll never watch that again.
I feel sorry for these people. They have some kind of mental disorder that is going undiagnosed. Until now. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, out comes the news about a documentary 'revealing' that the U.S. imploded the Twin Towers and deliberately and visciously killed over 3,000 of its own citizens!
Rosie O' "Bloatsey" is involved, but considering that she is a one-man wrecking ball of every one of the Ten Commandments most Christians and Jews alike live by, no one believes anything that comes out of that big fat mouth of hers.
As far as Chuckie's concerned, here's a couple of goodies he's been known to dabble in:
As if there's reasons weren't enough to convince you what a total nutjob Charlie Sheen really is, here's a famous quote, referring to September 11, 2001:
"...I saw the south tower hit live, that famous wide shot where it disappears behind the building and then we see the tremendous fireball. There was a feeling, it just didn't look any commercial jetliner I've flown on any time in my life and then when the buildings came down later on that day I said to my brother 'call me insane, but did it sorta look like those buildings came down in a controlled demolition?"
He also said that most people who went with their gut instinct, that the buildings had been deliberately imploded, changed their minds because that idea was "washed away by the incessant flood of the official version of events from day one."
Now, how many things are wrong with the above statements?
I'll just cover the most important one: The liberally biased mainstream media would NEVER, I repeat NEVER, let a chance like this one slip under their radar. If there was ANY doubt in the minds of the reporters and television news broadcasters that the towers were "deliberately imploded", that would have come out in the days following the 'second day that will live in infamy' in our country. The liberal newspeople, particularly 'I went down to the bottom before I got booted out' Dan Rather, would have made sure the public knew that our government is now resorting to tactics used by radicals, extremists, and terrorists who want all of us dead, by blowing up the World Trade Center. Guess they thought we wouldn't believe that when Clinton tried to do it in 1993 he failed miserably, so the US decided to try AGAIN, and this time suceeded in killing and maiming over 3,000 American citizens!
Does this sound as crazy to you as it does to me?
Speaking of crazy, his dad walked around with a bucket on his head, marching on Washington DC to protest the bombing of Hiroshima, that he forgot happened OVER 60 YEARS AGO!!! He thought we just did that recently! It's a shame to see washed-up actors getting senile, isn't it?
Anyone who knows me well, knows why I'm such a big fan of Kiefer Sutherland's. He not only plays the best character on television. on the greatest show on television, "24" on Fox, he also chose to use his incredible speaking voice for a little known documentary entitled "Flight 93". Charlie plays a homosexual on a show that recently featured a storyline where one of the characters described having sex with fruit as a kid! See? See the difference? Both Sheen's and Kiefer Sutherland's fathers are successful actors, one on the big screen and one on TV, but they chose different paths. Good for you, Kiefer!! Get out of Hollyweird when the big one from Iraq hits the West Coast! And take a few others with you, Gary Sinise, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Bruce Willis, and Ellen Degeners,...and, oh, but I digress...
I'm going to find out where this piece of trash documentary will be premiering in my area, and I'm going to gather a group of Americans who still believe in democracy, freedom, and liberty, which comes at the high cost of sacrifices made by our armed forces, and we're going to make life miserable for that particular theatre.
If you're not familiar with the career of Charlie Sheen (who is?) google Hollywood drug addicts or alcoholics, perverts, wife beaters, and Charlie, the "reliable source", Sheen will show up in the search results. Get a glimpse into the intelligence of this guy, who may have a few brain cells left that weren't fried by drugs.
When asked why he chose to join the US in the disarmament of Iraq, Prime Minister Tony Blair said:
"...because it was the right thing to do."
"We are the ally of the US not because they are powerful, but because we share their values."
"Britain has never been a nation to hide at the back."
"We the British are a people that stand by our friends in time of need, Courtesy of ThankYouTony.com
My thoughts and prayers go out to the people who were attacked this morning 07/07/05, in London. I saw the movie, "Flags of Our Fathers", and no matter what
message it is trying to convey, these two photos stand for Victory! and Resilience!
America never backs down and never surrenders!
While watching the movie, "Path to War" the other night, I noticed something about the media that I probably did not pay much attention to as a teenager. The movie was about LBJ's involvement in the Vietnam War.
Every night on the news, they would run the names of US servicemen killed in Vietnam that day, during the war. This, of course, was more for a ratings boost than a tribute. The media has always thrived on tragic tales and knows that the public
can be incited to riot over something they see on TV.
However, on the same news broadcast, they would show anti-war protesters. I think after a time, they showed more anti-war protest footage than they did tributes to the fallen men in Vietnam.
I believe that this display of irresponsible news coverage was the basis for the American public's treatment of our Vietnam Veterans upon their return home. The news people were not totally to blame; we are responsible for our own actions and need to take responsibility for the way we treated the Vietnam Veterans. Nonetheless, I feel the news coverage played a role in it somewhat.
A perfect example of just how insensitive and immoral our news media is, yesterday I heard the story about some kook who filed a lawsuit so that he could publish photos he took of the draped coffins of some our military who gave their lives for this man's First Amendment Right. What angered me even more was that my local news program showed the photos on TV, and then I go on to the CNN website to see the GALLERY of photos this man published. I won't watch any other news program from now on except for The Factor with Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity minus Colmes, and the Glenn Beck Program. The media loves the war, they love the anti-war protesters, and they love the publicity they get when they outrage us with their disgusting acts of disrespect for our military and our county.
The news story dominating all the major news networks is the one about 'prisoner abuse'. Here are websites that tell of the 'prisoner abuse' inflicted upon troops in the Vietnam POW camps. Shame on the elite media for not thinking this was, or is now, a big story. Visit:
I want to make sure the public and more importantly, the US troops overseas,
get firsthand accounts of what took place. I'm tired of being misrepresented in
the 'majority' the news claims objects to the war in Iraq. I want Victory in
Iraq, not defeat.
I want our troops to be safe and well-equipped, not left to their own defenses
because Pelosi wants to cut and run, and stop funding for the US troops.
On March 17, 2007 I went to Washington DC, with a "Gathering of Eagles" to
protect our war memorials, and to oppose the A.N.S.W.E.R Coalition's 'march on
the pentagon', what was dubbed as an "anti-war protest".
Since the mainstream media, and even the Fox News Channel, which claims to be
Fair and Balanced, did not cover our pro-US troops' rally, I decided to give my
account of the events that took place. Fox News was there, but all they covered
were the 'protesters.' The pro-US troops crowd, the Gathering of Eagles
outnumbered the protesters 3-1 according to the National Park Service. On the
A.N.S.W.E.R Coalition's website, they claim that there were less marchers than
advertised because park police kept them from joining the demonstration. That
could not be further from the truth.
The National Park Service roped off, and designated areas for the Anti-American
crowd and for the Eagles crowd. I was there for about five minutes, when a
group of 'peaceful' marchers tried to break the barrier of Veterans and US
supporters set up at the 'exit' of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Dozens
of reports involving 'anti-war' types desecrating war memorials, made it
necessary for the Vietnam Veterans to not let the 'angry mob' through. They
weren't going to allow them to destroy their memorial.
What a bunch of goons they were! I haven't seen that many freaks since I went
to the Big Top in the circus as a kid. It mostly consisted of young people,
quite a few of them kids ranging in ages from 6-18, some in strollers. There
was even one guy pushing a baby in a stroller, and when one of the protesters
tried to come over to our side, a couple cops stood between the protester and
the vets on our side. This guy placed the stroller between him and the vets.
Can you believe it? We lined on the sidewalks as they marched by and shouted
USA! USA! over and over again. Some shouted Traitor, Terrorist, and other words
appropriate to the parade of loonies marching by. It reminded me of the
Mummers' Parade without the great string band music. I liked the guys dressed
in Pink and wearing the rainbow clothes. That was very colorful, I just don't
know what that crowd had to do with being anti-war!?!
The Eagles waved American Flags, it was great and the 'marchers' hated it!
There were a few scuffles, when some of the protesters crossed over into the
areas that were designated for the veterans and troops' supporters. There was
this guy, Squiggy they call him, who is at the Walter Reed Medical Center for
our wounded veterans, shouting at our soldiers as they enter and leave the
building, every weekend. They call themselves Code Pink. Squiggy had a big pink
ribbon hanging off of his backpack. He deliberately went through a crowd of
vets, carrying his signs. He was told that he must have gotten lost and was
directed back to the 'flock' on the other side of the Lincoln Memorial.
I always knew that Jane Fonda was a thorn in the Vietnam Veterans' side, but
seeing it up close and personal was very different. She wasn't there of course.
There is a picture of her marching in a protest, probably somewhere in CA, or
it could have been at the protest in Oregon where they burned the Us Flag and
an effigy of an American Soldier, and waved a banner saying "F**k the Troops!
Fonda is pictured with the Code Pink 'ladies', one of the 'ladies' being a guy
with a 5 o'clock shadow. Freaks, all of them! There are more pictures of
protesstors on my blog:
It's Time to Take America Back
, so be
sure to to take a look at it.
Friday night, March 16th, groups of Veterans and supporters stood outside of
Walter Reed in the cold, while it was snowing and gave support to the guys
coming in and out, while the small crowd of Code Pink people tried to stage
their weekly tirade.
The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition's musical guest was a rapper with a 'rap' sheet. Big
surprise, huh? Apparently he had some controversial songs about Bush and about
9/11 being an inside job. When we had our rally, with the Pledge of Allegiance
and the Star-Spangled Banner, all you could hear were the shouts of the morons
across the way. While our side played Taps, you could hear them shouting things
like, "Puerto Rico is in the house, Cuba is in the house, Palestine is in the
house, etc." as if that was a good thing! I didn't hear them say, and this is
important, "America is in the house!" America was there that day, but not with
the '10,000' Anti-Americans. America was where she belonged, with her 30,000

The protesters tried to paint the Eagles as 'bullies', but everyone was really
civil I'm surprised at how civil the Eagles were considering that for many of
our Vietnam Veterans this was the first time they were able to vent their rage
at the protesters without lifting a finger to them. Just our being there
angered the 'mob'. They were a little shaken by our numbers as well. Was it
surprise or fear? Hard to tell under all the rainbows and pink ribbons. We
ruined their "Communist" Block Party. And that pleases me very much!
Towards the end of the day, when most of us were leaving and waiting for our
busses and whatnot to come, suddenly dozens of cop cars and paddy wagons went
flying down Constitution Avenue with their lights on and sirens blaring. I
found out that about 200 people from the Black Bloc people (whatever they are)
tried to climb the fence surrounding the wall with weapons. None of them made
it over and they were all arrested. But you won't read about that or see it on
TV either. One of the guys I was walking around with that day, was there and
saw the whole thing. He said there were more cops that what I even saw.
When I went with my kids to DC couple of years ago, it was a rainy, chilly
Spring day, May 17th, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy's birthday. No one was around and we walked freely all over the Mall, including in the
area of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. On March 17th, everyone had to go
through a metal detector to visit the Wall. There were barricades all over the
place. The lines were incredibly long, but so worth it. There were Vietnam
Veterans in wheelchairs spanning the length of the wall, thanking everyone who
came in support of them and our troops. We weren't allowed to carry bags in
with us to see the wall. All that because of the protesters. It was amazing,
though!
There are tons of pictures up at freerepublic.com and on the usvd.com page. I
have had a ton of people sign my guestbook in the past month. Before that all I
ever got was spam and I had to dump the guestbook. One of them was a Philly cop
who said he was also a Navy Veteran in Vietnam and he went to the wall on
Saturday, too. His reason was two-fold, he went as a veteran and as a police
officer. One of the groups marching were defending and seeking justice for a
convicted cop killer from Philadelphia, currently sitting on death row. He shot
the cop in the back four times, witnesses stated. I have even had a couple of
soldiers sign the guestbook. That was cool. Read the entries by clicking on

Two things were accomplished by the Eagles on March 17, 2007, in Washington DC.
One was that no war memorial was defaced as they have been in the past by
anti-war types all over the country. The other was to stand in support of our
US troops currently serving and for our Vietnam Veterans. For the first time in
our country, Vietnam Veterans recevied the "Welcome Home and Thanks for
Serving!, they never received.
Joining the Gathering of Eagles that day was so worth the trip, even if the
news media doesn't think so. This is why it is up to Americans to take their
country back. We can do it! It isn't too late!

So here's a message to Chirac and the other leaders who refused to help:

"To retreat now, I believe, would put at hazard all that we hold dearest, turn the United Nations back into a talking shop, stifle the first steps of progress in the Middle East; leave the Iraqi people to the mercy of events on which we would have relinquished all power to influence for the better."
