CAKE MIX INGREDIENTS (follow package directions)
1.PREHEAT oven to 350. The convection oven does not work well for this! Grease bundt pan. Using the Flexi-mold or Llorente brand works neat but, put this type on something sturdy! 2. MIX, in a medium size bowl, all muffin ingredients together. Pour half of batter into the bundt pan. 3.COMBINE , in a small bowl, all cake filling ingredients. Make an indentation in middle of bundt cake batter. Fill indentation with the filling. Do not have the filling out to the edge of batter. Carefully, pour the remaining half of batter into the bundt cake pan. 4.BAKE at 350 for 60 minutes or or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack. 5. STIR, to make glaze, powdered sugar, butter, maple extract and vanilla together. Stir in milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until smooth and of drizzling consistency. Then, just drizzle over top of cake. 6. SERVE with a dollop of whip cream. Makes 10 big servings. 7. SUGGESTIONS: One can use an angel food cake pan (tube pan), 10 × 4 inches instead of a bundt pan. |
