MATTHEW BOHAN |
Matthew Bohan is a freelance medical illustrator,
wildlife artist, and photographer. His lifelong interest in animals and
art led him to get his MS in Biology from St. Bonaventure University
and his MFA in Medical and Biological Illustration from the University
of Michigan (UM). Four of his wildlife paintings are in the Uof M’s permanent collection; others have been displayed in the Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors, Watercolor U.S.A. 2000, and the Colorado Bird Observatory’s Annual Songbird Show.

Artist magazine featured an article on his watercolor
technique in the May 2001 issue. His medical illustrations and
animations have appeared in print, video, and award winning CD-ROMs.
His paintings and photographs have appeared in Wild Earth Journal,
Birder’s World, Lighthouse Digest and The Nature Conservancy’s
national magazine. He currently lives in Lansing, Michigan. |
