LION: Librarians Information Online Network -- A Resource for K-12 Schools http://www.libraries.phila.k12.pa.us/lion/  This is a great place to start, with lesson plans, LM_NET, organizations, periodicals, and more.

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators http://school.discovery.com/schrockguide/ Kathy Schrock's immense resource includes a large section on Literature and Language Arts in the Arts and Literature section. This is probably the best starting point for educators.

Vandergrift's Special Interest Page http://www.scils.rutgers.edu/~kvander/ Kay Vandergrift is a professor at Rutgers University who has contributed a lot of deep content to the Web on children's literature. Her site includes important writings on freedom of information and the role of women in literature, as well as a great Cinderella bibliography.
