The Educator's Reference Desk http://www.askeric.org/ The Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) at Syracuse University is one of the best places to search for lesson plans and educational research.

Thinkfinity - Education and Technology in the 21st Century http://www.marco-polo.org/ Formerly called Marco Polo, this site has teamed with Verizon and changed its name. A stellar group of partners make this an excellent place to find lesson plans and resources.

Virginia Department of Education Homepage http://www.pen.k12.va.us/ Includes sample Standards of Learning (SOL) tests, news releases, and other resources for Virginia teachers.
