Welcome to the Official Club Impaler WebSpace. It's only got some cheesy photos up now, but there might be more, depending on what kind of time I get to do stuff.

Club Impaler hosts an internet and satellite radio show, from 2400-0300 ET (0500-0800 GMT) every Tuesday night. Due to time and personal constraints (that plus the fact that it is DAMN COLD in the unheated studio in the winter), live shows are not done as often as people want. Rest assured, when things get settled, the live Club Impaler Overnight shows will resume on a more normal basis.
In the interim, there is a new feature: a 96/44 stereo MP3 stream (sorry dialup peoples) featuring stuff from the vaults of the Impaler Archive. Click here and enjoy!
Here is a link to the page that has links to the show: The W0KIE Satellite Network...
or you can try Radio Free Dishnuts which has a link to a page with archives of previous shows.
Have fun!
Here are some pirate files from a while back that I found... Links to recent pirate SW radio files: Not a pirate, per se, but a phenomenon in december of 2004, the "Yosemite Sam" beacon had a lot of people going. It was eventually traced to a small facility in Arizona, but for a while, the RF spectrum was hearing "Varmint, I'm gonna blow ya to smithereenies!!" preceded by a data burst. Here are some examples of Yosemite Sam transmissions, as recorded here and by others:

I think some of these were not received here but passed on from others, it's been too long for me to remember... :)
Possible relay as this is "Traffic Report Obscura", KIPM's first broadcast.
started out like KIPM relay but wasn't...
SIERRA PAPA comes up about 5 minutes into this recording!
Radio Jamba International chokes Chicken Radio BIG TIME! [explicit language warning]
I missed the opening ID but the rest is there, including the phonetic message...
a MUCH better recording, two nights later, with the gawdawful noise level GONE.
caught in progress... a little mixing with a spur from KOA but that goes away after a bit.
