CRAZY ELEPHANT

Crazy Elephant was originally put together in the studio by producers Jerry Kasenetz and Jeff Katz with Robert Spencer, formally of the Cadillacs, on vocals. The group only released 45s (the album is a compilation of singles) and are best remembered for Gimme Gimme Good Lovin', which had the pounding beat and immediate appeal that typified bubblegum music. At least 5CC of the group 10CC (One of my all-time fave groups) wrote and played for the group; evidenced on at least two singles B-sides, Umbopo and Pam. Pam, in particular, is a great lost Bubblegum classic and should be sought out.
