Welcome
to
Dragon Claw Castle
We've decided to change things around a little. .As you enter the Castle, you will be greeted by your Host and Hostess, Lord Buddha Kahn and Lady Whitefire. There are a few links at the bottom of the screen, but for the most part, you will have to wander around a bit to find stuff.
You MUST be set at 800x600 or the site won't work. The whole thing is set up around the location of transparent GIFs to be used as door ways and such, and they are set up in an x,y location kind of thing, so the 800 x 600 keeps things in the right place. Also, it was made for Microsoft Internet Explorer, so if you are using something else, you may have some trouble.
You should download this font, as the whole site was designed for it, but you don't have to. It will still work, but won't look as good.
Keep your eye open for the "Pointing Finger", and be sure to check out everyone you meet, scrolls, pouches and chests lying about, and doorknobs and the like.
We still have a lot of unfinished business to attend to, but for the most part, the Castle itself is done. We have a lot more work to do on our Hidden Treasures, and the Dungeon is nowhere near complete, so you can expect to find new things at any time.
You can walk through the Castle Gates and start grabbing stuff to make a castle of your own right away. The deeper you go, the more you will find. And, of course, the really good stuff is at the very end, upstairs, or in the Dungeon.
All of the graphics not made by us were given to be used for free on the WWW except for the background you see. If anyone knows who drew this, please let me know!
The idea is a sort of adventure/treasure hunt game where you can nose around and gather up stuff to build a castle of your own. Lord Runeraven of Ravenloft Castle has started a web ring full of castles as such where we can all visit one another. You should click on that link and go see it!
If you would like to get in on that, we would be glad to send you some files to help you get started. Just drop an E-Mail and let us know.
You should also keep in mind that the entire site is highly graphical, full of animated GIFs, and that the backgrounds are simply HUGE, so it may take quite a while for some of the pages to open. You may have to refresh the page to get it all working. Your browser will store the files, so the next time through it won't take so long, but be sure to refresh every week or so, or you may miss the new stuff that comes in.
And now, let the Game begin!
