Contemporary Insanity
My friend Mike- artist, musician and renaissance lunatic- wrote a song for me. (I love it when that happens.) I've also included one of his self-portaits.
Contemporary Insanity......
Lost my comb- lost my visine- lost my
book of fueng shui so get outta my way.
I am a temporary monster, fuelled primarily on beer.
When the sun sets tonight at midnite, a rusty squeal's is all
you'll hear.
Contemporary insanity ... I guess I've had some luck
Contemporary insanity ... need to roll and tuck
Contemporary insanity... who really gives a fuck.
When the flower turns to seed and your teeth seem to itch.
and the plane you once stood on dissolves to a ditch.
there are two things you can do.....
one is close your eyes and pray.
the other is to freeze and do nothing at all.
Contemporary Insanity.. Buy it while it's cheap
Contemporary insanity... my cell phone doesn't beep
Contemporary insanity,,, NO NO OHHHHH!!! BABY
( I'm not sufferin from insanity I am enjoyin
every minute of it)
Fortified wine- bad credit cards, and a trip to Disneyland &
Six bad relationships- the party is at hand.
Gonna go back to south Plainville and/or to the Rio Grande.
