Future meeting ideas:
Maria Lovelace's father died, the secretary will send a sympathy card on behalf of the club.
End of business meeting.
Mr. William Boudreau presented "Wounded by Ball, Bayonet and Bacteria!"
a discussion of Civil War weapons and tactics and the medical problems and solutions resulting from them.
Bill had an excellent display of weapons and medical instruments.
He also discussed diseases and treatment which included sanitation efforts and the lack of knowledge regarding what we would consider basic medical treatment such as sterilization of instruments and facilities. His presentation was followed by a question and answer session and examination of his display. Following a short break, there was a genealogy roundtable to close the meeting.
