.    Energy crises? This was hardly unexpected! Above all, stop sniveling!!! Find other ways to power our needs, how about a distributed approach using millions little contributors to the grid - all of the above. Do the numbers!

Besides t his is our opportunity to get manufacturing back into our own country. Perhaps we can employ our own people again. With transportation costs going through the roof and the quality of the imports steadily declining what's keeping us from making our own?

.   Forget nuclear energy! As soon as the power plants are built the speculative fuel monopoly will kick in to shackle us! Besides where do we put the highly toxic nuclear waste of our "safe" power plants; that is and remains the unsolved problem. The French ship it to Algeria, what a deal (pure racism). Consider: Roughly 20% of our hydroelectric turbines in existing hydroelectric plants are not being used because we haven't built a distribution net to deliver the surplus energy - is anybody awake?

.    Insist on better quality and pay a little extra, we as a nation are slipping into third world mediocrity because of our nearsighted obsession with vast quantities of cheap stuff. We need fewer things of higher quality towards a better, healthier quality of life. E.g.: A high resolution TV will not solve the lack of high quality content problem.

.    Are you really going to pay $30 for a movie on Blue Ray disc? One you already have in your collection? One you could buy for $7.50 on DVD used or for $2.50 on VHS tape? In the end isn't the content that counts?

.    Hillary Clinton played a significant part in getting us the Free Trade Agreement that wiped a significant number of US jobs off the map! - Have we all forgotten?

John McCain is simply a third term for George Bush.

Inexpirience beats the current old racket hands down! Also talking leads to understanding the opponent and a well understood foe is easier to fight.

If McCain were half the good character he projects himself to be, he would have come out strongly against the agregious speach by Geoge Bush in front of the Israeli parliament. “This is the kind of statement that has no place in any presidential address, especially not in a foreign forum!"

.    World trade is nonsence for small business. It is impossible for a small business to compete world wide!
As usual we have been duped to believe the propaganda about how small business is the backbone of American business all we have created is a bunch of complicit small time crooks that can only compete if they don't play by the rules and thus loose their right to complain as they have become accomplices.

.    We have been set up to argue about race and gender. I submit: We are fighting the wrong battle,
we need to get past this relentless nonsense, let'sconsolidate our cultures, pick out the best of what each culture has to offer and discard the rest. The focus on a better quality of life for all people on the planet. There is plenty of money to be made in win-win situations!

.  Keep in mind: George Bush is a true reflection of the American public at large and not at all a freak aberration as some would like us to believe. 
        We got exactly what we deserve.
. Perhaps the most important thing of them all is call the enemy by its real name, the biggest enemy is "STUPIDITY" followed closely by IGNORANCE  it is vital to call it what it is, regardless of the perils,  whenever such is detected it deserves to be called what it is.  No, this isn't criticism this is merely decerning!
.    Make an attempt at justice but make people understand that justice is not always possible even with the best intentions.  Under such circumstances people of either side must be prepared to suffer some injustice, equally so as to distribute the burden among all for the sake of a future.

.    Advocate and promote mental health worldwide,
with an emphasis on the psychology of the self and on how to achieve an objective perspective on one’s own cataleptic emotional state. The Muslim nations would be a lot better off with such tools in hand.   One cannot help but suspect  that the entire evolution of psychology has bypassed the Arab countries and Iran.

.  Reintroduce art and culture into the national debates. Cultural activities should be an integral part of daily life, we must focus on other things than ghetto grief!

.  Insist on better news coverage, demand a cumulative searchable record on line. Anything reported must be on record and available.

.  Any program you installed on your  computer imust be entirely and readily removable. If the program doesn't work the way it was advertised you should be entitled to double your money back upon return of the defect program.

. All DC power supplies (dongles) must have the same connector and shall be interchangeable, so as to enable the use of a universal supply and to cut down on the incredible waste of material and space that currently happens.

. Do not ever vote again for anyone who does not, or did not defend the US constitution when such an occasion presented itself.

. Set up a free international university on line, cover all the basics.  Fundamental education for everybody who wants to better themselves, objective and non political.

. Teach insist on personal hygiene and on general hygiene and cleanliness.

 

. Teach and insist on manners and etiquette 

 

. Demand accuracy in language and fight political spinning by way of inaccuracy and polluted language.

 

. Reduce noise pollution from telephone rings to coffee grinding to piped in escalator music.

. Eliminate top down lawlessnes no impunity for anybody!

 

. Fight noise pollution in all varieties, e.g. Piped in music or diesel engines, etc.

 

. Demand critical thinking and news analyses from the news media and a follow-up on all matters covered in an appropriate timeframe, keep a public record on both.

 

. Insist on the scientific process when analyzing problems, do not settle for hearsay and subjective perception

 

. Reward success and reward failure, punish inactivity.

 

. Set aside three hours a week for intellectual growth of your choice. Any activity, any subject that furthers individual growth will do.

 

. No impunity under the law under any circumstances to nobody!

 

. Our senators and congressmen have sworn to uphold our constitution, if they don’t take action on their oath impeach them.

 

. Mythology and religion have no place in government keep church and state apart.

 

. Fund and promote interdisciplinary creativity.

 

. Advertise the good that the US does around the world we currently are a PR Failure. 

 

. Create a “good will through art program” in parallel to the Peace Corps to promote better world to us relations

 

. Promote peace through social justice world wide.

 

. Provide an absolute minimum safety net for everyone. A place to sleep, shelter and sanitation.

 

. Get off functionalism and promote more interesting forms to complement function.

 

. Protect the environment  all around the planet.

 

. Stop clear cutting in favor of cut and reforest.

 

. Promote and engage renewable energy.

 

. All fundamental tutorials, math, chemistry, physics and the like should be posted with step-by-step problem solving free of charge available on the web.

 

. Educate in a task oriented fashion not subject oriented.

 

. Promote longer lasting, higher quality goods to reduce the “carbon foot print”.

 

. Make all communications high speed and free to accelerate commerce.

 

. Promote English as absolute must second language world wide

 

. Do not print voter pamphlets in any other language than English. All other languages should be paid for separately.

 

. Combat petty lawlessness, the decay always starts with small steps

 

. Demand stronger penalties for false and deliberately misleading advertising.  Truth in advertising!

 

. Get surveillance cameras with better resolution in place to reduce waste and survey more effectively.

 

. Install P.A. Systems that can actually be understood.

 

. Reign in the range of salaries and golden parachutes within any company to a maximum spread of 100:1 .

. Governor Sch.: the governor of California has dual citizenship - I consider this a conflict of interest! As much as we like Sch., would you want a president with a dual citizenship? (Not that a foreign born citizen could be president.) Call governor Sch. and ask him to give it up!

 

. Nuclear power in the USA: demand that those who speak about reviving nuclear power in the us know the difference between radiation contamination and radioactive material contamination and properly articulate this whenever they speak about nuclear power.

US dollar: proposal: the time has come to change our one dollar bill into a 1,38 USD bill to draw even with the euro.  Doing so would make the currencies one for one compatible.  Consider:  if the capitalist system is the best system on earth why does the “near socialist” system with its Euro have higher buying power than the “all mighty” dollar?  Is our administration selling us out in yet another way? Contact your congressperson for answers!
Note: the media have begun to lump the dollar slump in with the creeping inflation that “nobody in the news world noticed” over the last five years, they speak of the two issues as if they were synonymous; they are not! The dollar is held low by administrative choice, inflation is out of their control.
