PRESIDENTIAL UNIT CITATION UPDATE
11 January 2007
Well its interesting that the question came up just a few days ago and word
came down from headquarters today. CG Headquarters anticipates
distribution of the PUC will start sometime in February! COMO Belmore at
the Cape Office has been tasked with pulling up a list from AUXDATA to tell them
how many ribbons to ship. If the time estimate holds true, Division
Captains might receive a box full of ribbons at the February District Board
& Staff meeting or at least by the March meeting.
Basically anyone who was officially on the books as a member for any amount of
time during the award period is eligible. That means everyone whose
official date of enrollment is on or before 13 September 2005. Note below
in upper case the excerpt from the Headquarters message. I've also
attached the latest graphic representation of the ribbon.
