Here are some Mpegs of the layout taken during Christmas vacation of 2000. All are 320X240 in the MPEG I format, except for the last three. These are high resolution 720X480 in the MPEG I format. I strongly recommend a high bandwidth connection to the Internet if you would like to download the entire set. A full download with a 56K modem will take days to complete.
320X240 MEPG I
1. Mitford Yard switcher blocks cars for incoming intermodal train, ICOICH, and manifest freight train, MNPPR.
2. Westbound MPRNP exits staging, passes through Rochelle & Deshler and stops at Buhl station.
3. MPRNP switches the Buhl yard.
4. Eastbound coal train, CPBWE, passes through Freemont, Mitford, Buhl, Deshler and stops at Rochelle.
5. Westbound auto-rack train, AGMNP, passes Rochelle, Deshler, Buhl and stops in Mitford.
6. AGMNP power heads for fueling while yard crew switches train.
7. Eastbound CPBWE heads out of Rochelle bound for Milwaukee via Chicago.
8. AGMNP power connects back up to its train and continues journey westbound to North Platte via Clinton.
9. MPRNP heads out of Buhl, passes through Mitford, and stops in Freemont.
10. Eastbound manifest freight train, MNPPR, exits staging, passes through Freemont and stops in Mitford.
11. MPRNP heads out of Freemont and continues journey to North Platte via Clinton.
12. Rochelle switcher blocks car at UP/BNSF interchange for incoming manifest freight train, MDVG2
13. MDVG2 heads out of staging, passes through Freemont & Mitford, and stops in Buhl.
14. Westbound CCEPB exits staging, passes through Rochelle, Deshler, Buhl & Mitford, and stops in Freemont.
15. The Mitford Yard crew switches MNPPR.
16. MDVG2 heads out of Buhl, passes through Deshler, and stops in Rochelle.
17. MDVG2 switches cars at the Rochelle UP/BNSF interchange track.
18. MNPPR heads out of Mitford, passes through Buhl, Deshler, & Rochelle, and continues journey to Proviso.
19. Eastbound Manifest Freight Train, MDACH, exits staging and stops in Freemont.
20. CCEPB heads out of Freemont and continues journey to North Platte via Clinton.
21. Westbound intermodal train, ICHCOI, exits staging, passes through Rochelle, Deshler, and Buhl, and stops in Mitford.
