PRINTING TIP: I suggest copying the text below and pasting it into Microsoft Word. Then in Word you can reformat it as desired before printing.

ERRATA

English Power Card, Henry VIII "card":

After the line with the Card Bonus, add the following sentence:

"Ignore English troops in Reformation/Counter Ref rolls."

Reference Card, Field Battle Result:

Second bullet should just read "Defender wins ties".  Remove the text "... unless eliminated."

Rule Book, Page 11, 9.1 Negotiations, Fifth Bullet, Last Sentence:

Change the phrase "a major power's capital" to "a major power's own capital". You can yield control of another power's capital (for instance if you have conquered it and want to trade it back to that power).

Rule Book, Page 14, Restrictions During Diplomacy Phase:

Move the third bullet ("Scotland, if you are either currently allied with France...") up to the section above "Restrictions At All Times". This restriction applies when the Six Wives of Henry VIII card is played, making it impossible to declare war on Scotland with this card when England and France are allied.

Rule Book, Page 16, 12.2 Unfortified Space, Requirements:

Add a fifth requirement bullet that reads:

"o The space is not occupied by land units from another power (unless those units are allies of the active power)."

Rule Book, Page 17, Land Movement Procedure, Third Bullet:

Replace the contents of this bullet entirely.  The new text is as follows:

Formations may not move into a space containing land units from another power unless the space satisfies one of these conditions:

o all units in the space are allies of the active power (and this is not a fortified space where one ally has another ally under siege),

o all units in the space are enemies of the active power (and this is not a fortified space where one enemy has another enemy under siege),

o this is a space controlled by an enemy power and all units in the space are either from that enemy power or allied to them. When resolving this movement, treat the units already in the space as “enemy units” for all purposes. Adjacent units from a power with units in the space are also considered as enemy units and may intercept into the space if desired.

o this is a fortified space under siege where either: (a) all units inside the fortification are allied to the active power and all besieging units are enemies of the active power, or (b) all units inside the fortification are enemies of the active power and all besieging units are allied to the active power.

Independent regulars in an independent key (Section 22.6) never prevent the entry of a formation, though that formation might have to fight off troops from an enemy power before being able to siege the independent key.

Rule Book, Page 17, Land Movement Procedure, Fifth Bullet:

Change the word "it placed" to "their power placed".  The bullet then reads:

No army leader or unit may participate in a Move action if it occupies an enemy fortified space that their power placed under siege (Section 15) earlier in the impulse.

Rule Book, Page 21, Assault Procedure, Step 11, Last Sentence:

Change "Step 3 of the Peace Segment Procedure" to "Step 6 of the Peace Segment Procedure".

Rule Book, Page 25, Piracy Procedure, Step 2, First Bullet:

Change "2 dice for each naval squadron of the targeted power or another power that is at war with the Ottoman..." to just read "2 dice for each naval squadron of the targeted power..." (If a power at war with the Ottoman had a squadron in the sea zone, a naval combat would have occurred and forced one of the powers to retreat).

Rule Book, Page 27, Left Column, Last Sentence in Column:

Change "Immediately upon completion of a Full Bible translation, the Protestant power may make 6 Reformation attempts..." to "Immediately upon completion of a New Testament translation, the Protestant power may make 6 Reformation attempts..." (The information on the result of a Full Bible translation appears in the following sentence).

Rule Book, Page 30, Counter Reformation Procedure, Step 1, Second Bullet:

Add to the end of this bullet: "... (even if across a pass). (This makes Counter Reformation and Reformation attempts consistent with each other in this regard.)

Rule Book, Page 33, Land Unit Return Home Procedure, Step 1, Check Stacking Violations:

Add the following to the end of the last sentence: "... or if its path ends on a space in unrest." (So you can winter move to a fortified space or capital in unrest, but you will take attrition if you do so).

Rule Book, Page 33, 19.5 Replacements:

Change the first two sentences to read: "Each power  now adds 1 regular to its capital if it is under friendly control and not in unrest. The Hapsburgs check both capitals and can receive 2 regulars at this time if both capitals are controlled and not in unrest."

Rule Book, Page 39, Schmalkaldic League, Third Bullet:

Add a sentence to the end of this bullet.  The full text now reads: "Convert all Protestant home spaces that are currently under Protestant religious influence to Protestant political control. Spaces are not converted if they contain a Fortress marker."

Rule Book, Page 41, 22.4 Deactivation:

Amend the third bullet to read: "England, France, Hapsburgs or Papacy may play the card Diplomatic Marriage to deactivate Genoa, Scotland, or Venice."

Scenario Book, Page 2, Marker Setup, The New World:

Add the following sentences:

"In the 1532 scenario, 6 of the 9 markers are placed on the New World display. The other 3 (Circumnavigation, Pacific Strait, and Aztecs) are placed in the Hapsburg Bonus VP Box."

Scenario Book, Page 4, 1532 Scenario Setup:

The Papacy now begins in control of Sienna (SCM) and Florence (HCM).   One Papal regular moved in the initial setup from Rome to Florence.

Their setup entry is thus:

Rome:  1 regular, 1 merc, 1 naval squadron, SCM

Ravenna: 1 regular, 1 merc, SCM

Florence: 1 regular, SCM

Sienna: HCM

SCM on Power Card: 4

Remove the setup entry of 1 independent regular in Florence.

Initial Papal VP start at 17.

Scenario Book, Page 6, Tournament Scenario, Add New Special Rule (#4):

The card "Dissolution of the Monasteries'"(# 63) is normally added to the deck at the start of Turn 5 or 6 if Henry VIII has married Anne Boleyn on the previous turn. For this scenario, set this card aside at this time.  When dealing cards to the English player for the turn, please give this card to the English player instead of the first card they would have been dealt from the deck.
