Will a Moonwalk Fit in My Yard?
If you have a somewhat flat area about 17' x 17' with no low hanging tree
branches, it will fit. The best place for set up would be a level grassy
area.We rarely have a problem fitting it in an average front or back yard.
We can even setup a moonwalk in your front yard. For safety of the hoppers,
setting up on concrete is preferred as a last option. All inflatable's
are anchored down. If you need to set up on concrete, asphalt, or sand
please let us know. Sandy areas tend to track sand into hopper creating
a mess.
Can we set up an inflatable indoors?
Yes, as long as the room is large (and especially tall) enough to accommodate the inflatable. We will not go up or down more than 2 (two) single stairs and we must be able to use our dolly to move the inflatable to its destination. If you are renting one of our larger inflatables we will need a double door or 42” width to move the inflatable through. Call ahead of time to find the size opening we need for your inflatable. Please make sure all post from double doors are removed prior to us arriving at your event.
Can you set an inflatable up in my driveway?
Yes, provided the driveway is flat enough. We prefer to setup inflatables on a grassy area when possible, because it is easier to safely secure the inflatable and generally safer. We will not setup inflatables on gravel driveways.
My yard slopes, is that a problem?
A little slope is not a problem -- we can usually put the entrance of the inflatable at the top of the slope. Steep slopes, however, are not acceptable and unsafe for inflatables.
Will You Deliver?
Yes.
We offer FREE delivery to most customers. Hop Happy will deliver your
moonwalk AND set up the unit for you. We will call you prior to our delivery
to let you know we are on the way. We need at least 30 minutes to prepare
and set up. Free delivery applies to most areas 30 miles one direction
from Minneapolis. A small delivery charge for those over the 30 miles.
Could I set it up Myself and Save Money?
No. Hop Happy takes great pride in the safety and cleanliness of each
unit we rent. The only way to guarantee you this quality is to do it ourselves.
The weight of the units range from 200 to 500 pounds. Many require special
equipment to move them into position. Besides, we NEVER charge a setup
or tear-down fee.
How long is a "Daily Rental"?
"Daily Rental" means the daylight hours of the rental day. You
can see sunrise/sunset times by clicking here. We make every effort
to Make a Kid's Day. That means we will work with you
to have your rental before your party and pick it up when you’re
done. We ask that you be as flexible as possible with delivery/pickup
times. It is logistically impossible to deliver every rental at sunrise
and pick them up at sunset. If you require an EXACT delivery time or pick up time, that can be provided for an additional $50.00.
Can we keep it overnight? Certainly some choose to use our rentals in
the dark. Renters should think carefully about safety surrounding use
in the dark. If you want to keep a rental overnight, we will offer a generous
discount on the second day, especially if it can be picked early the next
morning.
How Safe is a Moonwalk?
It is very safe! Our units are made with fire retardant materials, they
have safety exits and an entrance ramp, all four sides of the unit have
mesh netting for easy viewing and ventilation, we will review all safety
rules and guidelines upon our arrival, and our staff will inspect the
area where the unit is to be set-up to insure safety for everyone.
Is the Moonwalk Clean?
You bet it is clean. We clean and sanitize our equipment after each and
every rental. Don’t be surprised if we break out the vacuum! To
keep the Moonwalk clean, please do not run sprinklers or mow lawn the
same day in the setup area. Please make sure the setup area is clear of
any waste/debris.
How Many People will the Hopper Hold?
Our Moonwalks are designed to safely accommodate up to 6-8 children at
one time. It is recommended that you group the bouncing participants by
age.
Do I Need Electricity?
Yes. You need a standard electrical outlet within 80 feet of the setup
area. The standard household outlet (110) will be fine. We Supply an 80
foot extension cord please keep that in mind when thinking of the placement
of the inflatable item. If you are having the party at a park please check
on the power source. A generator can rented for an additional charge.
Can I Cancel?
Yes. We ask that you cancel at least 2 weeks prior to delivery to give
us the best chance of re-renting the unit.
Do You Require a Deposit?
NO!, However, Please note you are responsible for full amount unless canceled
within 72 hours of delivery. We accept cash, check, or credit card for
the balance upon delivery. Click

What if it Rains?
Rarely does it rain all day. Just as soon as it stops raining, a quick
wipe down and the hopping can begin. A moonwalk might save the day! Our
moonwalks do have a roof on them. However if there will be high chance
of an all day rain and you do not wish to keep your reservation you can
reschedule without a fee. You must contact us at 763 370-2687 before 7:30
am to reschedule. The moonwalk can not be used if the winds are 25 mph
or more, lightning, and should not be used in heavy rain. If you choose
to keep the rental and you are responsible for full payment regardless of the weather during your event.
Do we have to sign a liability release form?
Yes, Lessor is NOT responsible for injuries occurring to lessee or to any persons using the leased property, and the lessee further agrees to hold Hop Happy harmless against any injury and claims to property damage. By accepting these terms you indicate agreement with all the provisions in this lease and acknowledge that you will read, review and follow the general rules posted on the rented equipment for safe operation.
Can You Provide Attendants?
Yes, Attendant rates are $15.00 per hour / per attendant.(4 hour minimum)
If you require an attendant to monitor your event we can provide this
service for you. Our attendants are versed on all safety rules and help
provide a fun day for all your party guests.
What happens if we spill on the units??
Customer must provide trash cans near the inflatables. On asphalt this is a huge problem for our clean up crews. What happens is a kid places a can of soda on the ground at the base of the inflatable, Then accidentally, some one else immediately kicks it over spilling underneath the inflatable. Of course lots of sticky clean up is required underneath the inflatable before it can be rolled up and put back in the delivery vans. If a can of soda has been brought inside an inflatable such a moonwalkor other similar games, and it spills and is not cleaned up immediately by the customer’, customer will be charged a $150 cleaning fee. This also applies to vomit, urine silly string, or face paint!
What happens if we damage the unit?
Customer is held liable for any and all damages to equipment other than normal wear and tear. (Examples but not limited to: Ripped seam on an inflatable due to “overloading riders”
Can we Tape signs on the unit?
NO - TAPE No duct tape, masking tape, or tape of any kind allowed on inflatables! If game signs and ticket signs are needed they must be placed on a chair, table, box, or on a board hammered into the ground NOT ON THE INFLATABLE. Customer will be charged a cleaning fee of $150 per game if tape has been used.
