Fire Buff Systems and Frequencies

Massachusetts and New England are have several different fire buff organizations. In addition to fire and emergency buffs, members of the news media listen and participate in these organizations. Listening to them is a good way to find out about major events as they happen. It also allows the scanner enthusiast to multiply his listening range, since no one can listen to everything. Listed below are some of the larger and more active buffing groups along with frequencies, codes and even some links.
