Hi Keith,
I have a General Affidavit that Charles E. Erisman signed regarding the Civil War pension application of Catherine Ehrisman, wife of James B. Ehrisman. Find it at the end of this e-mail. I am researching Ehrismans, but know nothing of your Charles other then he was a cousin to James, I think! Did your Charles fight in the Civil War? I am going to the National Archives on Friday, Sept 29th, I can look him up for you. Have you gotten in touch with Oliver Smith? He has done an incredible amount of Erisman research. His e-mail address is <Smithoj@apci.com>. He should be able to help you.
Regards,
Donna
