Akutaq means "blended one".   She was named for the blending of two cross lines.

Akutaq is a sweet little princess who loves to curl up in bed with us every night.  She is a Kenne daughter from his first litter.   Aku is the pack "spokesdog". She always seems to have something to say about everything. Her favorite activity is to torment Tatoosh until Tatoosh says "enough!" Then she moves on to Tanacross or Scout.  Akutaq is the resident ear washer and dental hygienist.  All pack members have to endure her scrubbing.
