The
photo above is but the first of a number of transition images
that
were created in order to eventually arrive at the final picture
that
was used on the front cover of Feels
Like Home. On this
image
the original background is still in place, and the original
puppy
is still visible. The only apparent change is that Linda's
head
has been substituted for the original little girl's head. Later
changes
would be: a different background would be added; the
puppy's
head would be replaced by a cat's (although the puppy's
body
was left in place); and Linda's head would be manipulated
to
simulate a young Linda. During an interview with Regis and
Kathie
Lee in March 1995, Linda expressed some dissatisfaction
with
the cover....saying, "Get rid of that stupid cat." Maybe she
would
have preferred the puppy. She also made a point of showing
the
back
cover of the FLH CD and saying that she baked that loaf
of
