A leader is not necessarily the strongest or most ferocious, but displays a combination of qualities: good judgment, confidence, assertiveness, direction, emotional stability, motivation, discipline, fun, fairness; and will exhibit these qualities consistently. If you expect a dog to be responsive to you, you need to demonstrate to the dog that you have the necessary qualities to be a leader. |
