What is Fantasy Postage? It is faux stamps, 'artistamps', as they are also commonly known. In general, such stamps are issued for a fictional place, or for a place for which stamps are not issued by any formal authority, or to complement official stamps- the result of what one may wish a country would issue if only the authorities were more imaginative or less timid.

The Great Lakes Republic A peaceful, environmentally friendly land, incorporating much of Ontario, Michigan, and bits of Wisconsin.
Obscure Tolkien Lands Tolkien described many lands in great detail. Others, such as Khand and Hollin, remain mysteries. These stamps might help shed some light on them.
