Paul's vacation with Kevin
Fall of 2003

I flew down to Phoenix and spent 19 days with Kevin, the same amount of time Mary and her mom, Joyce, went to Ukraine to visit her sister, Judy, and family. Kev and I had a great time that included going down into Mexcio (Rocky Point) to an AA Roundup, sailing in the ocean, riding 4-wheelers in the desert, lots of golf, and a grand finale of renting a couple of Harley "Fat Boy" cycles and touring northern Arizona. Here are a few pictures of the memories we made.

Just one of Kevin and I with the sun setting behind us at Rocky Point, Mexico. It was about 95 degrees and 95% humidity - sweat like a pig, but had a great time.

Kevin on the sailboat - a good friend of his pulled it down from Arizona. It was a real hit - the water was bathtub warm. We spent one afternoon neck deep in it to get out ot the heat.

These were the bikes we rented. That's the bridge at Rosevelt Lake in the backround, the start of the Apache Trail. About 25 miles of the trail was a dirt road.

Now that Apache Trail was a challenge on those Harleys, but the scenery was worth it.

We rode from Phoenix, up through Prescott and Sedona and spent the night in Flagstaff. The next morning on our return trip, it was about 38 degrees and we could only go about 10 mile at a time before we had to stop and warm up. But there again, I wouldn't have traded that experience with Kevin for anything.
