Miwok & Yurok Baskets are shown in the Eureka CA Museum
| These baskets were used to store dried acorns
for year
around consumption. The people lived well on many different
things,
but acorns were a staple item. The geometric designs were
sometimes
representational and other times abstract. Can you tell which are
which,
or are all of them both? The railroad is easy, but what about the
others?
This large color anaglyph was shot using a baseline of 4 1/2 inches. The image is sized to overfill a 1024 x 768 display by the ratio of 4 1/2" to 2 1/2" and thus provide an ortho baseline. It should require you to use the scroll bar to view the entire image. The same image at a smaller size appears hyper. I post this to show how pan and zoom are nice to have for stereo viewing. |
