Greetings Fellow Knights!
Well, It looks like Old Man Winter is well on his way! Although I have put some Stable in the gas tank, I have still managed to get the beast out a couple of times yet. Still in the 50’s a lot of days! Just enough to make us all slobber on ourselves yet! Wish it would either be winter or get the temps back up to comfortable riding area! Oh Well!
Our Christmas Party was great! Thanks to the Nicholson’s for allowing us to come and mess up their house! (Just kidding! Don’t think we were too bad!) At any rate, our officers were elected and all officers stayed the same except our directors are now Tom Malapit, Mike Gibbs and Tim Osborn. Tim, also doubles as our Road Captain again. Our attendance drawing was also held again. For those of you who do not know, we now do a drawing and the winner, if present at the meeting receives $15.00. If no winner, it rolls over until it is hit. Once again, Mike Gibbs was our winner. He was not present, and so January’s meeting, which will be the 23rd at Tom Malapit’s Business, 6254 W Kilgore at 6:00 PM, the drawing will be for $45.00. That will pay your dues and some left over! Please attend and remember to get your dues in! Ride With Pride!

Pictured above is our newest applicant. Yes! It is Erik Estrada! John Hines and I managed to get up to City Hall and meet Erik. Erik and his wife still ride and when asked about joining the Blue Knights, completed an application! Not sure yet if he will stay a member of IND I or become an International Honorary, but he will be a great Blue Knight!
Once again the “Chicken Napped Chicken” has been spotted at a Blue Knight Event! For those of you who are not aware, the “chicken” seen in this photo was at the Spring GLRC last seen doing the “Chicken Dance” and was captured by an unknown person or persons. (Probably some of those “seedy” motorcycle guys that were hanging around!) The next Summer GLRC is just around the corner so if you haven’t made your plans to join the fun this year, GET BUSY! |
