Jimmy Peters grew up just south of Boston
in Quincy Massachusetts
and began performing in his teen years. Jimmy was raised on rock and roll
but also has explored country, folk, bluegrass, and blues.
Jimmy has performed with classic rock cover bands in various show settings.
The performances were on the south shore, in metro west, Providence RI, and Loudon, New Hampshire.
Shows included Boston Harbor
cruises, the Brockton Fair, NASCAR NEXTEL CUP race concerts and many night
clubs.
Collaborating with friends on various music projects, Jimmy continues
performing in small groups and band settings. Chrissy
White has been joining Jimmy for shows (flute, vocals) and Jimmy also occasionally
performs with blues harp master Johnny Dino Dinatale.
Jimmy started the solo act with a string of performances at the end of
2004. He writes original songs and occasionally performs them along with an
extensive list of popular cover tunes. Jimmy writes about events and people
that have touched his life in some way.
