Pleiades Open Cluster in Taurus


The Pleiades are enveloped in the Merope Nebula, a blue reflection nebula  associated with the Pleiades. 

 

Exposure Data:  Hypered Kodak RG200 exposed for 60 minutes @ f/5.6

Telescope:  TeleVue 85 refractor on a Losmandy G11 mount

Guiding:  Autoguided by an SBIG ST-4 off-axis with modified Lumicon NEG
