This is a commission for Antonio Cejunior inspired on the shape of the dha. You can see more detailed pictures of the making of this blade here. The steel is W2 clay-coated for differential hardening. The hamon is eye-popping.  The fittings are made for durability. The scabbard itself is built to be used for thrusting and reinforced with wrought iron for the pommel and end-cap. The guard is also made of wrought iron. All wrought iron fittings are given a patina to show the pattern in the iron. As part of the mixing of cultures and influences, this blade has a copper habaki stamped with my logo. The wood for the scabbard is ebony built to a thickness of 2 inches. The handle is made of ebony, figured bubinga and held by brass pins hidden by horn caps.
