The year of this photo is around 1952-53 right after the new Tony Sudekum Housing Project was completed. Carroll Street is prominently shown on the right with Lafayette Street crossing the photo diagonally in the background. The Seventh Baptist Church at the far end of Carroll Street is clearly shown and the white Carroll Street Mehodist  Church is shown about midway down Carroll. In the far distance one can see the old city reservoir and Lindsley Ave. appears to the extreme right of the Photo. The new addition to Cameron School is being completed on the extreme left. Eddie's Super Market is shown at the bottom of the photo on Wharf Ave. IN THIS VIEW, you may rest the mouse pointer over many areas and the name of the Building or Street should appear.
