Newly rennovated Roslyn Cafe.
The Roslyn Cafe was reopened this year. The inside is a new rendition of the oasis. The sign is freshly painted. The higher-priced lunch menu has a world-class chef. The food was fantastic!
I made my trip a long road trip (and believe me, more than 3000 miles roundtrip, it was long but fun).
After Roslyn, I headed to Olympia, where the temperatures will still in the high 90s (uhg!). I went to a music in the park concert in downtown Olympia. The country band playing was singing about the "KRD" -- which the singer explained to be the Kittitas Reclaimation District. The band was from the Ellensburg/Cle Elum area. Just around the corner from Roslyn.
