- New or used Intake Manifold (mine was new) - New or used Dellorto Carburetors (mine were new) - Cooling Water Hose (shorter and straighter than with Strombergs) - Heater Hose Fitting (mine press fitted into the intake manifold) - Water Temperature Sending Unit (I was able to re-use the old one) - Vacuum Hose Fittings (2 needed, one for each end of the manifold) - Air Horns (these came with my carbs) - Air Filters (I bought mine from CB Performance - cast aluminum @ $37 ea.) - Manifold/Head Gasket - Replacement Manifold Studs, Nuts Washers - Synthetic Caps (to cap unused carburetor vacuum openings)
Test Equipment
- Tach-Dwell Meter - Voltmeter (or wired 12 volt lamp for static setting of timing) - Uni-Syn or other Carb Balancing Tool - Induction Timing Light
Special Tools
- Torque Wrench (for proper torquing of intake manifold nuts) - Gasket Scraper (for cleaning off old manifold gasket) - Grinder (for modifying vacuum advance body) - Tap and Die Set (for installing the water temperature sending unit) - Assembly stand (to support the manifold while mounting the carbs)
Supplies
- Lok-Tite (for installation of manifold studs, etc.) - Steel Wool (for removing last remnants of manifold gasket) - Gunk (for general cleaning of manifold/oil filter area while disassembled) - Various screw clamps (for attaching lines, hoses)
