ICT - Imaging for Comprehension Training

• Develop understanding of narrative form
• Develop ability to link information
• Develop inferential and deductive reasoning skills
• Improve comprehension for written and spoken material
• Improve vocabulary

Availability - In response to requests from other professionals we have made our SST materials and techniques available as a complete teaching program called "Reading By The Rules".

The Imaging for Comprehension Training (ICT) program is designed for children who have difficulty organizing and retrieving what they read. In this program, children are taught to use language to interact with material while developing inferential thinking skills as they read. Verbal expression as well as listening and writing skills can also be addressed and improved through this technique.

Instructor training in ICT is provided in a four hour program delivered at our offices or to groups of teachers at school locations. Contact WKRP to arrange for ICT training.
