This information is application specific to UFO and Alien
hunters / hobbyists , but can have a wide range of other uses as well !

The intention is to address hobby specific uses for the " magnetics " technical
information on this site in order to empower " hobbyists " and " hunters "
with very inexpensive new and / or improved tools to help them in their
pursuits .
At present there are no known civilian contact or direct alien technology
experiences in the general public realm. there are lots of documented
personal experiences and claimed government / alien material , but
( sadly ) no actual general public holdings or knowledge base that is
documented and accepted as " alien " or a genuine " UFO " for the public
to see , interact with , etc. . because there is no actual alien technology
experience to work with " supposed " methods of discovery
and detection have to be based upon a combination of available technical
experience and bits of information found on the web , that might or might
not be accurate ! basically said, we have to rely upon our best judgment
and available technical capabilities for the Alien and UFO hunter / hobbyist.
( do the best with what you've got for as small an expense as possible !!! )

how a person might go about using technical means when hunting UFOs and
Alien technology. it logically follows that where there is alien technology ,
we should be able to find actual aliens or at least discover more information
about aliens in general.

when reading and researching the above mentioned sources ( among many
others ) , a couple of possibilities suggest themselves to be strong candidates
for consideration for alien and ufo hunters ( within all that information, there must
also be " at least " a grain of truth buried in the desert sands of flack and bogus
information ! )
a recurring theme in this material for UFO propulsion is mag-lev type technology
that uses electronic or electro / nuclear means to generate ion propulsion or
anti-gravity type " lifters " to lift and propel craft within earth's atmosphere !
to bolster the these possibilities , the fact that a mag-lev technology already
exists , here in the U.S.A and is even patented , goes a long way towards lending
credibility to possible alien ( secret government ? ) mag-lev UFO propulsion.

how do I , the Average hobbyist , go about trying to find
UFO and / or Aliens using simple and inexpensive technical tools ??
based on the previously mentioned sources and resources , one possible
approach might be to measure / monitor earth's magnetic field ..... or rather
look for disturbances in earth's magnetic field . the use of anti-gravity or
magnetic levitation lifter type systems would create huge " DC magnetic "
field / wave disturbances within a fairly large localized area surrounding
craft that might use these lift / propulsion systems.
additionally if the craft uses any type of mag-lev lifters ( as we know them
and their technology ) then high voltage corona discharge would be an
additional component that one would look for , related to UFOs.
there is a LOT of technical experience and a large public
record of observed " corona discharge " related to UFO sightings ( alien or
manmade ) ! also , ( if people like Bob Lazar and many others are even
remotely correct ) a person should look for electro magnetic pulses / radiation
discharge from " nuclear " mag-lev power generators that are claimed to
power the UFO lifting engines .
additionally , there are numerous types of unexplained " DC " magnetic waves
and ULF ( mostly 0 to 45 hz ) " AC " signals / waves ( see below )
, to be found , that could quite possibly be attributed to UFO or Alien origins
( for lack of a better explanation of their origins ..... or secret government
sources ..... or possibly yet undiscovered natural biological sources
< maybe aliens are even natural biological sources !! > ) it is reasonable to
look to these types of unexplained phenomena for possible evidence of
alien / ufo existence , in the absence of any other explanation. even if they
eventually turn out not to be alien in nature , they may well represent yet undiscovered
and unknown types of natural earth phenomena or natural aquatic / land biological
phenomena ........ all " stuff " well worth discovery and investigation.

I will show the alien and ufo hobbyist how to use the technical information
and inexpensive equipment , shown here on my magnetics site , to look
for " DC " magnetic wave disturbances , high voltage corona discharge ,
EMPs ( electro magnetic related pulses ), and unusual or unexplained ULF
( 0 hz to 45 hz ) " AC " waves / signals as an aid for the hobbyist . detection
or discovery of magnetic disturbances, HV corona , EMPs and unexplained
AC / DC waves alone ( or in combinations , together ) DOES NOT , of it's self ,
indicate the presence of UFOs or aliens ......... but this information combined
with good detective work and careful observation can be MOST helpful for
the hunter. ( if you are using this equipment, and you suddenly detect
TONS of magnetic disturbances , detect lots of corona discharge and / or
unusual ULF waves and suddenly see what looks to be a large ... black .....
unidentified object rise from a field and < quietly > fly away , then you
can be fairly well assured that you might have the makings for an alien / UFO experience
/ sighting ! Like I said , it takes good detective work AND observation because
as tho this " might " be an alien encounter , it could just as well be a secret government
aircraft flight test or something being tested from the private sector .
inexpensive detection of magnetic waves and
wave signatures
the exact same equipment combinations , mentioned on this site , can
conveniently be used to detect and monitor dc magnetic wave
s , corona discharges , electronic pulses , and ULF - SLF ac waves
..... , all at the same time...... all with the same equipment combinations.
a sample set up of equipment mentioned on this site for magnetic wave monitoring
might be as follows :
simple quick and easy magnetic wave checking and monitoring :
1. ferromagnetic rod antenna ( source and information for ferrite rods )
2. gauss master with external antenna mod
3. optionally ....... add to the gauss master the recorder output and
digital recorder / pc .. spectrogram software for documentation and
wave / signal analysis ( on site or at a later time ) .
( gauss master with external antenna mod and large ferrite rod antenna )
this basic equipment combination is suitable to detect ultra weak changes in the surrounding
magnetic wave environment. it will work at some distances , detecting strong magnetic wave
changes / disturbances many miles ( or more ) distant. it is fairly inexpensive ( $39
for a gauss master , about $100 for a large stormwise rod using a spool of #30 magnet wire
wound on the ferrite rod < 4400 turns > .... about $12 on ebay ) .
( explanation : the large ferrite rod < self resonant 0 to 1500 hz > with a large number
of " pick off " wire windings < the more windings , the more sensitive the whole sensor is to
weaker signals / waves ... this particular rod has 4400 turns of #30 enameled wire wound on it >
is connected into a Gauss Master that has the " external antenna " modification . when
any DC magnetic wave/s " cut " < move across or through the sensor > the self resonant
ferrite rod captures an " induced " voltage change. the 4400 pickoff windings conduct
( a large amount of ) the wave induced voltage / signal into the VCO circuit of the Gauss
Master.
the larger the induced voltage ( the stronger the induced wave ) the higher the pitch of the
gauss master output tone. in effect , the gauss master is " up converting " a weak moving or
disturbed DC magnetic wave / field to an audio tone the user can hear / record /
analyze ! in addition, the properties of the " proportional VCO " in the Gauss Master can
impart " any " manmade / non manmade AC waves ( 0hz to 1500hz ... within the range of
self resonance of the ferrite rod ) , if they exist , and they appear superimposed on the
audio tone output ! this ability of the Gauss Master allows easy capture and identification
of ULF ac waves / signals and ULF noise spikes and / or pulses ! )
try this : you will probably find it helpful to have some practice at hearing the difference
between " ac " and " dc " signals / waves ! try this quick and easy test to hear the difference,
record the difference and use the spectrum analyzer software to confirm the difference.
first , hold a gauss master on the lowest ( most sensitive ) 0 -1 range and hold it near
an appliance or wall outlet ...... and hear the tone increase ( get stronger ) as you move it
closer and listen for the very noticeable 60hz BUZZ in the speaker , as well. the buzz shows
you it is an AC ( manmade ) signal ! then ........ get one of those powerful
little magnets that you see many people playing with ( any magnet will work ) and spin
it on it's power axis ( any axis will do, but the magnet's powerful axis will give you more
range / distance ) near the sensor on a Gauss Master or any gauss meter sensor .
( large ferrite rods , as shown above, can easily detect a small magnet , tossed into the
air , 7 or more feet distant. with preamplifiers or more windings , the distance is increased. )
notice how " sharp " the signal is ( not broad like the ac power wall signal )
and particularly notice how " pure " the gauss master tone is ..... no " buzz " at all !
tape a microphone to the gauss master speaker and connect it into your sound card
and record < MS wave recorder > the sound from the Gauss Master. then run the
" Spectrogram " software ( on your laptop or home pc ) and take a look at the captured
signal . the magnet will show a signal that is pure with NO modulation of any kind.
the 60hz wall power will show a strong line of " 60hz " signal on the wave analyzer
software ( set the frequency range of the spectrogram software to 0hz to 100hz ).
try firing one of those inexpensive shocking " stun guns " that are found all
over the web and ebay ........ at some distance form the antenna and hear what it sounds
like and record it and look at it with the spectrum software ! this test approximates what
corona and static discharges ( and lightening ) will look like. notice that you can detect
and record the stun gun discharge at enormous distances with this equipment.
when detecting DC magnetic waves ....... about the ONLY single
" moving " magnetic wave anyone is likely to come in contact with ( obviously
keeping it away from speakers , headphones or anything with with magnets )
is an " UNEXPLAINED "wave. because this wave's source is utterly
" UNEXPLAINED " it is an excellent candidate for a ufo and alien hunter's interest.
in the world of AC waves / signals , remember that 99.9% of them ( in the 50hz to
400hz range ) are manmade ...... looking for and investigating AC waves / signals
in the 0 hz to 45 hz range moves the " hunter " away from the clutter of the bulk of
manmade signals / waves. this is also the range of frequencies that most of the
interesting unknown and unexplained " ac " signals / waves are found !
magnetic " bursts " ( short dc magnetic " blips "heard with the gauss master ) can
also be from scientific and government sources such as EMP weapons, nuclear
testing etc ! please read my Ghost hunter's / paranormal page for additional information
about understanding the difference between " yet " unexplained and ( obvious )
manmade waves !

the ferromagnetic rod MUST be held completely motionless when monitoring or else
the very powerful earth's magnetic field will be detected ( by motion of the sensor
rod antenna ) and block out all other wave signals. I usually mount one on a
pan - tilt camera tripod with bungie cords ( see picture at bottom of page )
so I can both rotate and tilt the antenna rod / sensor for best results.
when held motionless , this equipment will detect VERY weak
changes or disturbances in any magnetic field , natural or manmade. one must
take care to consider when a " magnetic wave " is detected because there are many
common sources of manmade / natural / unexplained magnetic disturbances
and ELF RF waves near the DC magnetic / ac wave frequency threshold
( 0hz to 45 hz ) and can just as easily easily be detected with this
equipment . knowing how to differentiate and identify magnetic waves , electronic
noise and ULF waves / signals is very important .
this setup is commonly used to detect lightening discharges and , because of that ,
makes an excellent detector for " corona discharge " . RF noise pluses and / or
ultra low frequency ( 0 hz to 45 hz ... see texts ) waves / signals are easily
detected , as well. tilting and rotating the ferrite rod , taking advantage of the
directional properties of the ferrite rod antenna / sensor ( see the tripod picture at
the bottom of this page ) is of great help to the hobbyist in order to determine the
direction of some signals / waves using desirable directivity ( ie: rod oriented
vertical to the center of the earth to make the sky , directly above , and straight down
into the earth , the favored detection directions ) , and for AC ( RF ) waves .... to
exclude ( null out ) signals in certain directions to reduce possible interference .
best results will be obtained by people knowledgeable
with the differences between dc magnetic waves and ELF rf waves , natural or manmade.
Spectrograms are a great help in making a determination of the source and wave type.
( see wave recording and spectrograms )
the above equipment combination is suitable for rural or desert like environments. if used
anywhere around power lines or populated locations , the interference
can render this equipment nearly useless as it will usually be jammed with interfering
local , manmade , signals ( power line hash, computer noises, etc. ) . this set -up
can still be used in a populated environment but will have impaired abilities.
a more suitable set-up for populated environments would be the gauss master with
a smaller external antenna or simple the built - in stock gauss master antenna. like
with the previous equipment set-up , the smaller external antenna MUST BE HELD
STATIONARY or it will detect the earth's magnetic field. a stock gauss master can
also be used " as - is " , but it will only " easily " detect " gross " changes in the earth's
magnetic field , in the high 1 - 10 milligauss range. it should be held motionless or
moved only VERY slowly when using the stock internal antenna to avoid jamming by
the earth's magnetic field in the lower setting range of 0 - 1 milligauss sensitivity.
see this information for using a nearly stock Gauss Master , mobile , to find exotic
moving magnetic waves. also, please read this information as a primer as to what some
kinds of magnetic waves will sound like when a gauss master.
example of smaller external antenna, better for populated location applications
text and info . this antenna is very inexpensive to build from common , easily
easy to find parts.
when using the ferromagnetic rod external antenna ( mentioned , first , above ) ,
you can get a lot of additional sensitivity and range ( 100s - 1000s of miles ! )
by adding preamplifiers in-between the rod antenna and the gauss master .
you can " stack " preamplifiers for super gain and range applications
it is a great idea to record and / or document your waves to study at a later time
or to show and compare with other people's finds . imagine documenting a find
of a UFO magnetic wave signature and posting it on the web for others to see and
compare their finds against ! true " signature " comparison can only usually
be accomplished by the use of ' Spectrogram ' type software analysis.
inexpensive recording of the found waves / disturbances can be accomplished
with the use of a small digital pocket recorder ( see above picture ) . you can
use the gauss master with the audio output modification and attach the digital
voice recorder and record your finds, then take the recorder back to your home
and play the recorder into your computer's sound card input and use the built in
windows sound recorder to capture the sound into your computer. then you can
use one of the spectrogram software packages to analyze the captured wave
sound file. you can look for manmade ( ie: 60 hz modulations ) on the wave
to determine if it was truly a " magnetic wave form ( pure dc baseline , with
NO manmade ac modulations ) or perhaps a ELF - SLF ( manmade or natural )
wave form. can't use a soldering iron ? .... they try taping a remote microphone
to your pc sound card ( or a small digital sound recorder ) to the speaker
area of your gauss master. remember to keep any digital recorder or tape
recorder " EAR " from your gauss master or especially your ferrite rod antennas.
they give off strong AC interference signals that will " jam " your gauss master.
a handy , gross , " quick check " of some waves you are finding might be to use the
rod antenna ( with or without above mentioned preamps ) into a audio amp
to check the detected wave. this is one of the external antennas , preamps if you
are using them , into a very inexpensive Radio Shack audio amplifier. with this
quick check set-up, you will easily hear RF ULF signals in the 60 - 3000 hz
frequency range. try holding this set-up near your wall outlets ( 60 hz signal ) or
near your computer monitor to understand what manmade signals / interference
might sound like. ( signals BELOW 60hz MUST be " upconverted " with a
gauss master for humans to hear them. ) knowing what " common " type manmade
signals / interference sounds like, can go a LONG way towards helping you
understand when you find something " unusual " or non manmade like a UFO
or ALIEN generated wave / signal. this same exact equipment set-up is
VERY excellent for detection and monitoring of natural earth sounds , if you might
be interested in finding those types of waves as well.
besides manmade types of waves , a familiarity with " natural earth
waves / sounds " can also be helpful to understand what type of wave you are finding.
it is helpful to determine if your captured wave is really a unknown or UFO / ALIEN , a
manmade wave or a perhaps a earth sound ( the VAST majority , 99.9%, of found waves
are likely going to be manmade )

are also the basic setup for listening to " natural earth sounds " in the 300hz to 1500hz
frequency range. the addition of additional " in line " preamplifiers ( as seen in other
pictures ) will greatly enhance the range and sensitivity of the earth sounds receiver .
