Mold Material Heat Tests
November 28, 2002

This set of tests was done to show if there was any degradation of these materials after sustained exposure to standard Polymer Clay Temperatures.   Each mold was made with the same item and baked with clay within at 260DegF.

At each interval, images were taken of each mold and the clay that had been baked within at 10x and 60x magnification.  No edits were made to the photographs other than to sharpen and/or lighten or darken the images for better viewing.  For some reason, it's especially hard at 60x to show the details in the pink molds and the clay results.  I did my best.

For a page of tests showing heat tests at 450DegF (a claim made by all three manufacturers), please go HERE  and for a page showing clay that was baked in the molds we used for our testing, please go HERE
