Mark started clogging in October of 1979 when a local square dance caller, Terry Goodling, formed what was to become the Carroll County Cloggers.
Connie started clogging in 1985 as an escape from Sunday afternoon football. She is currently president of the Carroll County Cloggers.
Both Mark and Connie are equally at ease with both contemporary and traditional clogging and enjoy freestyling to live music.
Mark and Connie were in charge of the clogging program at the National Square Dance Convention in Baltimore in June of 2000.
Mark is a fruit grower by profession and is in partnership with his dad on their farm in Aspers, PA. Connie is a retired computer programmer living in Manchester, MD.
