Instructions for e-Learning Registration
Please use the following method:
1. Please visit http://portfolio.globalclassroom.us
2. Click "register" near the top of the web page
3. Fill in your information (you do need a valid email address to register)
4. Choose your Maryland in the Select State drop-down list
5. Select “Student Account” in the Select Account Type drop-down list
6. Click "Register Me!"
7. You will receive an email with a link to click; make sure that your email filter will allow the email to get to you - you may have to turn off your filter for a short time.
8. Open the email, click on the link
9. You will be returned to the Global Classroom Portfolio page. Enter your email address and password. (In the future, you will be able to log in from either http://portfolio.globalclassroom.us or http://md.globalclassroom.us)
10. If you logged on from Global Classroom Portfolio, click on MDLearn. If you used MD Global Classroom, then you are already there.
11. From the Maryland eLearning Center, click on “All Courses” or “Reserved Classrooms” on the Left side under Course Categories.
12. Click on the correct course.
13. You will be asked for the enrollment code. This is where you type the code that was given to you.
14. In the future, you will see any course that you are registered in on your portfolio page.
15. For the first assignment, enter your class and click on the Welcome to your class forum listed in the first week or the first topic. Your assignment is to respond to the forum.
