Coach's Comments

This has been a terrific year. Once again the Glenelg team has shown its commitment to hard work and thorough preparation. Glenelg continued its anual appearance in the Circuit Playoffs. Due to the manner in which the county schedule was set, the two top teams never got to met each other in competition. As a result, Glenelg shared the county championship with Mount Hebbron High School.

While we leaned on the experienced members, some very dedicated and talented people joined the team. The team meetings and scrimmages were always spirited exchanges of ideas, and sometimes it was hard to remember that these people arguing points of law were high school students and not practicing attorneys. This year, we were fortunate to have the assistance of Attorneys Christine Keane and Faith Adelman. Their assistance in the finer points of law and of courtroom procedure was invaluable.

I would like to send my best wishes to the two seniors on the team, Kate Van Akin and Damon Krometis. Your experience, leadership and enthusiasm will be missed. Good luck in all your future endeavors. (Kate, we hope to see you back as attorney coach after law school.)

To the rest of the team, thank you for your participation and effort. I will be looking for you to provide that experience and leadership that is so important. I look forward to working with you next year in carrying on the Glenelg tradition of excellence.
