As we prepared for our Holy Union, the priest asked us what the most important thing was about our relationship; we both replied, “We make each other laugh”.

 

We first met when we were living in Texas. We spent time getting to know each other through walks in the park, having dinner together and playing softball with friends. The more time we spent together, the more we realized that our values and dreams were very similar.

 

On October 24, 1997, we committed our lives to one another at our Holy Union where we were joined by our family and friends. Since that day, we have shared many adventures and supported each other through many heartaches. It has been wonderful to watch many of our dreams, as individuals and as a family, come true.

 

Even after all these years, we love each other very much and spend a lot of time making each other laugh. It is our love and laughter that help us navigate life’s tough times and keep us strong as a couple.
