1. CLAUDIO & DIANA and VIVIANA & ISIDORO – May 2-4

We’re excited to be welcoming Claudio & Diana from Mar de
la Plata. We’ve been studying with pair over in Kent for
the past couple of years and were able to fit them in this
year. Claudio & Diana teach a style of nuevo that I find
refreshing - interesting combinations that expand on basic
technique and can open up new ways of thinking. They also
like to have fun, which shows in their dance.

Teachingwise, this couple gives lots of personal attention.
However, folks should already be familiar with the
material before taking the class (i.e., if you don’t know
how to do a volcada, the volcada’s class isn’t the class
for you). This is an exciting couple and we’d like them to
share as much of what’s new while they are here.

LADIES, please do not skip all of the earlier classes if
you’d like to take the advanced classes. This has been a
problem in recent workshops, which has made it more
difficult for the men to work on the material. It’s an
issue of having good technique that gets honed as one
progresses through the workshops.

3. CONTACT JAM W/ JENNIFER PARK - May 4

Jennifer Park from Penn State will be teaching the contact
improv class & jam May 4. In addition to being an
excellent tango dancer, Jennifer is a modern dancer, too.
So take advantage of her years of expertise. If you
haven't tried contact improv, I highly recommend it.

Class starts at 3:30 at the Bodiography Center in Squirrel
Hill. $5.
